Ironscales - secure email tool
What do you like best about the product?
We use Ironscales as a secure email tool. It is a magnificent tool, helping us detect all the malicious mails.
What do you dislike about the product?
Up to date, we are satisfied with this tool, so nothing to declare here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides secure email service safeguards email communication through encryption, strong authentication, and defense against phishing and malware. It encrypts messages and attachments to prevent unauthorized access and verifies user identity with multi-factor authentication. Additionally, it employs advanced threat detection to block phishing attempts and scan attachments for malware. Features like data loss prevention and secure email gateways further ensure the security and integrity of email transmission.
Ironscales makes quick work of email security
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Ironscales is that it saves a lot of time in dealing with email threats. Initial setup was pretty simple and additional tuning is intuitive. It finds a lot of threats the MS365 misses, even with full Defender/Advanced Threat Protection tools. Instead of having to sort through layers and layers of MS alerts and remediations, we can manage all our email issues in a very intuitive portal, including a lot that MS just misses.
Ironscales Themis AI does a good job of auto-classifying suspicious emails, and it gets better as we tune it. The emails that it's unclear about are easy to process manually.
The phishing campaign management is easy to work with and the integration of remedial training makes user education (almost) painless.
The Ironscales team is very easy to work with and very responsive in helping with any questions that we've raised.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had an Android app for mobile admin. The IOS app is great for doing quick cleanup of incidents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ironscales gives us better visibility into email threats and cuts the time required to remediate them. Without it, we were not only missing a lot of detections, but were not effective in dealing with the ones MS caught due to the amount of effort required.
IronScales Not quite set it and forget it, but sure is close.
What do you like best about the product?
I think what we like most about Ironscales is the ease of setup. After a 10-minute phone call, it was already finding things in our users' mailboxes. Ironscales is so easy to use, just three buttons: Spam, Phishing, or Safe. It doesn't get any easier than that. Add in SPF hosting, DMARC, and user training, and you have a complete email security arsenal. Their customer support and integration team has been great to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our only minor gripe (that has a huge impact on our environment is the lack of comprehensive user access roles. e.g. if you want an analyst to remediate the issue and create phishing/training, you would have to give the user the admin role since someone with the Phishing/Training Role can't remediate and vice versa.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We purchased Ironscales to get away from an antiquated email security platform that was rule based and required hrs dailing to mantian and remediate email
IRONSCALES utilized over a 3-year period
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about IRONSCALES is how easy it makes phishing protection feel. It catches a lot of the threats automatically, but what I really appreciate is how it empowers our users to report suspicious emails with just one click. The Outlook integration is smooth, and the platform itself is easy to navigate. It’s helped us improve both our security and our team's awareness without adding extra work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface could be easier to use. Some settings take a bit of time to find, especially when you're new to it. We also get the occasional false positive, but that’s pretty normal with email security tools. Nothing major, just a few things that could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IRONSCALES helps block phishing emails before they reach us, which makes things a lot safer. It also makes it easy for people to report anything suspicious with one click. Overall, it’s taken a lot of the stress off our team and improved how we handle email threats.
Easy replacement of our legacy secure email gateway
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to implement and replaced our legacy secure email gateway. A quick 10 or 15 minutes a day to clear any reported phishing or requests to release spam. Staff appreciates the transparency of emails that are quarantined. Has reduced administrative overhead for IT staff. Integrated well with existing Office 365 services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the clustering of incidents wraps legitimate email into one, however that is more a reflection of the types of attacks and mostly impacts encrypted email platforms and services like Paypal, DocuSign, and Adobe Sign. While sometimes a hassle it is good to get the visibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solved the multiple console problems of dealing with both phishing and spam. Has increased our visibility and time to respond.
Great Service and Easy to use

Clean and Simple User Interface. Easy to set up after the initial call and training. Catches a lot for than Mimecast.

Uses Microsoft Defender Quarantine from the onset.

Intelligent AI usage and learns from the emails the user blocks and or allows.

What do you like best about the product?
I have implemented Ironscales in my last two companies because it's an essential tool for helping protect employees and the families we serve in my industry. In being compliant, Ironscales addresses missing pieces that help give our organization the tools needed to handle issues quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
We're somewhat disappointed in the cost of DMARC module and how something is not provided already to the normal subscription holder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We haven't had any issues that were needed for support to resolve.

Providing just in time email intelligence for end users in their inbox. Customizable phishing simulations allow end users to be trained on the unique threats of their industry

What do you like best about the product?
The anti-spam solution offers comprehensive protection with advanced features, including adaptive learning capabilities and user awareness checks. The platform excels at event monitoring and alert management through its intuitive interface. The training modules and security simulations provide valuable educational content, while the implementation process is streamlined, typically taking less than an hour to fully integrate. As a result, our users have developed a stronger understanding of email security best practices.
What do you dislike about the product?
i would like that there could be an opperability with Office 365 Spam services - though i'm not sure it's possible.

What do you like best about the product?
easy to use, highly efficient, and incredibly effective at detecting phishing threats in real time. keep our organization secure with minimal effort. the customer support is outstanding. My Customer Success Manager, Shaked Shemian, is amazing, always proactive and ready to help even before I reach out.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s not much to dislike, but occasional false positives can require manual review. A bit more customization in alerts and reporting would be a great addition

IRONSCALES saves us a ton of time since we don’t have dedicated security analysts. The AI handles phishing threats automatically, so we don’t have to manually sort through suspicious emails. it keeping our company safe without extra effort.
