Great cloud calling service, rich feature and easy to manage.

What do you like best about the product?
My favourite functionality of Webex Calling is queueing and agent managing. Every agent can belong to several queues and you can set login behaviour for every single one. But the best feauture is callback: a timeout can be set for people in queue after which the system asks "it's been X minutes since you've been in queue: if you want to hang up and be called back when it's your turn press 3". This way people don't have to hang on the phone wainting... I absolutely love this one!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's onestly nothing to dislike about this product: the softphone is good looking (and has support for multi line, unlike other products), phones are really good looking and onboarding is a breeze with the 12-digit code, call routing is rich-feautured... I personally like very much the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great substitute for on-premise calling solution for those that don't require top-level complexity and don't want to manage on-premise hardware. Hardware support (CAPEX) is substitued by a convenient and easy to calculate on a per-user basis (OPEX) recurring billing.

Helps with efficiently scheduling meetings and work interviews remotely

  • September 01, 2023
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

How has it helped my organization?

The platform helped us a lot during COVID-19 to schedule meetings remotely.

What is most valuable?

We can access and conduct meetings remotely from anywhere using Webex. It saves a lot of challenges dealing with documents while preparing for meetings or interview sessions.

What needs improvement?

The product's price could be better.

For how long have I used the solution?

We have been using Webex for seven years.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I use Skype, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom as well. Some functions like screen sharing are challenging to use in Microsoft Teams. For Skype, it is more complicated to establish a powerful network.

How was the initial setup?

We have to connect to the network and download the software using the browser for installation.

What about the implementation team?

I implemented the product myself.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

We purchase the product's yearly license. It is expensive.

What other advice do I have?

I rate Webex an eight out of ten.

Its support for multiple types of devices is significantly helpful in ensuring that you can connect with colleagues and clients from any location and any device.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some employees in our company required prolonged training so as to fully understand the usability of webex calling. Updates on its user interface would make the experience more user friendly for new users.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the customization options for routing, voicemail etcetera which enable us to tailor this tool in line with our business needs. The call quality for both audio and video is outstanding thus ensuring that everything is clear and understood in all communications.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing can shoot upwards the more your business scales upwards. More flexible prices would be helpful. Webex calling has high internet bandwidth requirements which may not be favourable in areas with low internet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Webex calling is a robust and comprehensive platform than maximizes remote work and collaboration. It has enabled us to save time and resources since everything is operated from the cloud. Its phone system is intuitive and quite user friendly.
