What do you like best about the product?

What I like most about Oversight is how it strengthens our audit process with smarter, more consistent detection of potential policy issues, duplicate charges, missing documentation, and unusual spending patterns. It gives our team clearer visibility into expense activity and helps us concentrate on the transactions that truly need review, instead of relying solely on manual sampling. I also appreciate that Oversight supports both compliance and the employee experience by surfacing issues earlier and giving us a chance to correct them or coach employees before small problems become bigger ones. Overall, it helps us move toward a more proactive, data-driven T&E audit program.

What do you dislike about the product?

What I like least about Oversight is that, like any audit analytics tool, it requires thoughtful configuration and ongoing tuning to make sure alerts are meaningful and aligned to T-Mobile policy. Some items may be flagged even though they are ultimately allowable, so there will still be a need for human review, context, and judgment. There is also some upfront effort required to build the right workflows, templates, exception handling, and user guidance. That said, those challenges feel manageable and are outweighed by the long-term benefits of stronger visibility, consistency, and compliance.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Oversight is helping solve the challenge of identifying higher-risk expenses more consistently and efficiently across a large volume of transactions, while also giving us stronger reporting capabilities that we did not previously have. The improved reporting will help us see patterns across policy exceptions, duplicate charges, missing documentation, personal expenses, and other risk areas, instead of only addressing issues one transaction at a time. This benefits us by giving leadership and the TEC team better visibility into trends, root causes, and coaching opportunities.

What do you like best about the product?

Oversight is going to help our very large organization track policy violations more effectively and efficiently. We are able to now capture meaningful and actionable insights into employee spending and expense reconciliation behaviors. Changing these behaviors at such a large scale feels impossible but this tool is going to make it possible for our lean team to execute and deliver on those much needed changes.

What do you dislike about the product?

There is nothing to dislike about this tool. The only thing is that there is a learning curve to building the muscle memory to navigating the platform. That takes practice and time. The implementation team were extremely supportive and graceful with that process. One other call out is the self-guided training. I accidentally completed the test BEFORE I completed the lessons. If there is a way to prevent future users from doing so, I would recommend making that adjustment.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Oversight is solving a much needed reporting gap and policy violation tracking gap. The tool also enables us to contact employees directly about policy violations and address behaviors directly. Concur doesn't offer that but Oversight does and it is TIME SAVER!

What do you like best about the product?

The ability to automatically review all expense reports. Flexibility of the system to adjust to Medtronic's requirements.

What do you dislike about the product?

At times, there were communication disconnects within the internal Oversight team. For example, we would discuss rolling out the implementation in phases with the implementation manager, but that plan wouldn’t always be communicated internally to the PM or the ORS team.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We’re now auditing 100% of expenses, expanding our coverage and giving us a better chance to identify violations.

What do you like best about the product?

Their solution is great!! But i'd like to have insights and exceptions that could be customizable more especially for a worldwide group where different matters occurs depending on the country.
The implementation team is great! They listen and try to adapt as much as one can.

What do you dislike about the product?

Bit to rigid for large companies where some countries have some form of dependencies. Largely turned towards US companies and not European ones

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Easy. We used to analyze 4% of our Expense with probably some frauds. Now 100% are screened and fraud will drop.

What do you like best about the product?

Oversight has the AI ability to do the work that several human beings couldn't do. I would have to hire an entire team of people to accomplish the same amount of work and even then I feel like we would miss something that Oversight would have caught.

What do you dislike about the product?

If I had a dislike it would be on the integration. The amount of data that has to go from our system to Oversight and back is so great that it takes several hours to download and upload the data. I wish there was a way to have it around an hour instead.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Oversight is actively improving their AI in such a way that it can keep up with the people who are trying to cheat our business out of T&E money. There are dishonest employees out there with capabilities to access AI now to break the rules so we need someone like Oversight on our side to fight back.

What do you like best about the product?

It allows us to identify patterns a human could not. It allows us to review all of our expenses processed globally

What do you dislike about the product?

without refinement the number of exceptions can be overwhelming

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Automating email reminders that previously required manual mail merges

What do you like best about the product?

The system is easy to navigate, with a clean, intuitive interface. It’s a much better option than the previous tool we used.

What do you dislike about the product?

Compared with our previous system, we’re missing the ability to set review thresholds for expense-type subcategories, which is proving problematic. In addition, it doesn’t check itemization or provide translation. Those features were included in the basic package in our previous tool, but here we would need to pay extra. Access is also subject to an additional charge, which was not the case with Appzen.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It reduces the time we spend reviewing expense reports, which is cost-efficient. It also helps us focus our attention on what really matters, instead of reviewing items that don’t add value.

What do you like best about the product?

What I’ve found most valuable about Oversight is its ability to identify potential risks and anomalies in expense data. The platform is also very intuitive to use, and it supports different personalized solutions depending on what you need.

What do you dislike about the product?

There are many ways to summarize your research. This isn’t really a negative point, since Oversight cooperates with multiple partners.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It stays focused on what actually matters. The ability to identify vendors through MC codes has helped us improve expense categorization and prevent potential fraud.

Continuous updates to analytics that help us stay ahead of the risks with out travel spend

What do you dislike about the product?

Support team takes too long to resolve issues and does not always resolve issues correctly the first time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Improper payments; business courtesies

What do you like best about the product?

We like Oversight for its audit risk model customization. We can customize what should or should not be flagged at a granular level, which helps the team pinpoint risky areas while reducing manual workload. I also appreciate the good and timely support throughout the implementation process. It helps us target the risky areas for a manual audit and offers more risk categories. It's great that we can choose to auto-approve or auto-reject exceptions flagged by certain risk models. The overall accuracy is better with Oversight comparing to the old tool we used.

What do you dislike about the product?

I've been having some issues with data completeness when it flows from Concur into Oversight. Some expense reports were left as 'pending audit' and weren't actioned into Oversight until we reported the issue. Also, there have been duplicated exceptions flagged by Oversight due to system bugs. I think Oversight should have a system to monitor these issues and be the first to identify and report them, rather than us having to catch them. The initial setup wasn't easy, and it took a while for us to fine-tune the insights. However, it is totally understandable as we've been asking for customizations and descopes. It definitely worth the time to deep dive in to the insights while still in implementation.

I use Oversight for custom audit risk models, helping my team focus on risky areas and reduce manual work with auto approvals or rejections for exceptions.
