Fantastic user interface, super easy to navigate and gain insights

What do you like best about the product?
Demandbase is intuitive to use and provides a vast range of account-based insights to power marketing programs. The website analytics and keyword identifiers are some of my favorites, along side their ability to target named accounts. Getting advertising analytics and insights is also very easy. Demandbase also comes with a very comprehensive professional services support team. You don't have to do all the ad configuration and detailed digital advertising operations manually. It's a managed service with an internal support team and this makes things much easier internally. It's worth the cost to have access to their ad operations team. For example - you can test the viability of an audience before deploying a campaign.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - this is a best in class platform. What makes Demandbase great is how easy the user interface is and the speed at which you can get campaign insights and drill into specific account. I use quite a few platforms to manage and configure digital advertising and Demandbase is by far the most user friendly solution on the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to focus our digital advertising to audiences that actually mattered for our revenue. We use Demandbase to engage our top prospect accounts, our partner network and even as a retention tool for our top customer accounts. There are many different ABB advertising solutions out there but Demandbase helped us reach our audiences at a scale we could not get with LinkedIn and the business journal websites alone. We needed to have a competitive advantage in how we engaged and focused our brand message.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a careful look at how you want to spend your time - if you want to save time and focus more on account analytics and showing campaign insights, Demandbase is perfect. Other solutions focus more on the advertising operations and uses a self serve model. Demandbase is not that - it's a hybrid agency and platform model and works great for some departments who don't have the resources to set up their own advertising.

Getting key company information in one place
What do you dislike about the product?
APAC database is not storng. Many linkedin people are missing in Inside view, no email address. Sometime phone number also incorrect / not updated.
It should be more resourceful and update for APAC region as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For Account Insights and adding contact for prospecting.

What do you like best about the product?
It often provides me with key information I wasn't aware of before like key people, competitors, news articles and technology information. There are often more details there than you could ever find on the internet, all organized in one central location!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not always accurate. Sometimes one account has tech info and others don't

Getting up to speed on an account as fast as possible and getting a great overall view of the company.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing in Insideview in my opinion is the "build a list" function . It really helps with finding new companies to go after. It is really simple functionality as well so I like that. The news articles are also very helpful information that are pulled into the dashboard so its good to browse through those every once and a while.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Insideview is incorrect or just not updated enough so you do need to do some double checking in Google and other sources. It would also be able to pick certain sub-industries when building a list. Another thing that I dislike is that many of the articles that have great titles end up taking you to websites that want you to pay for the subscription to get the information, so a lot of the times I have to end up searching though google to find the info even thought Insideview was the original source. Another thing that would be helpful is if you used Asset size/$ amount as a secondary measure to revenue because sometimes there are companies with billions in assets that dont have tons of revenue and it make them look like small companies when they are just new.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is our source of truth for revenue information and company information, which is the main way we divide our verticals and market segments to it does keep that balanced. Its also a good second source for contacts, but the main benefit I would say is the easy of making the lists of new accounts to search.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would say that it is the most comprehensive tool for accurate company information as well as revenue. Other vendors seem to do okay at one or the other but insideview has the most information outside of just revenue, like family tree and overview.

What do you like best about the product?
The speed at which it typically operates and the integration it has with Dynamics 365. I also like that I can pull the account directly into my leads list. Other features I like about insideview is the fact that it has a system where i can build lists. I use this often to build lists for specific accounts. Another feature I love about inside view is that it enables me to sync items with linkedin.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that there seems to be a severe lack of small/midsize businesses in the system. I have contacted them multiple times to add additional businesses to the listing and they have been very quick to respond and add those businesses into the system. The average time it takes insideview to add businesses into their system is usually about 24 hours from my experience which is not that bad. I also made lists that were larger than 2500 and I could not export them into excel which was somewhat disappointing and I have had to reduce the size of the listing I try to pull for dials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been on 2 separate calls with account managers at Inside view and they have both been extremely helpful throughout the entire experience. I forget the name of the account executive that contacted me to get more insight but she was very knowledgeable about the system and the items that go into it and how it works on a basic level.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great system and I would recommend it to sales forces everywhere to use.

Essential Business Tool

What do you like best about the product?
I get an instant synopsis on the with better than average accuracy. The elements of the company now, and relevant developments. For Lead Generation marketing it has become a vital tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really can't think of anything I dislike about the tool .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me with writing summaries on my lead submissions for the Quality Assurance teams.

InsideView is a great tool especially for public companies

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to pull together a wide range of info about a customer/prospect all within a single view is powerful. Now that an integration has built to Salesforce allows me to see all of the research/data/articles all from within the Salesforce app which is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Here are the only two issues I've encountered with InsideView but both are not the company's fault but rather the nature of the beast.

1. Substantially less detailed info for private companies compared to public companies

2. A few of the names of my accounts are very similar to other non-related businesses. For example, my company would be MachineTec Inc. where there are other unrelated businesses with the words "MachineTec" in their name or "MachineTec Corp", "MachineTec, LLC", etc. will pull up in my account's results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to see a large compilation of industry research, company information, related articles, and much more all at your fingertips save account executives like me substantial time and effort learning their accounts and staying up to date on their business.

Good tool and well worth it to have it integrated to Salesforce Sales Cloud (CRM)

Sometimes does not register a company. There are a lot of benefits. The news tab and contacts are most beneficial to me!

I recommend having an Inside View rep showing you all of the features available. I used it for over a year and didn't realize all of the different features that were available.
