Half Baked Product

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to look at analytics on an account basis is valuable for ABM. It gives us a level of visibility our CRM and MAP lack.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product itself is extremely buggy and is missing some key features. We bought Engagio with the intention of using Analytics and Playmaker, which was sold as an outbound sales tool. After spending quite a bit of time trying to setup and test plays, it's clear that it was not purpose-built for BDRs and lacks the reporting needed to tell if plays are actually working. It has great potential but it's not there yet.

Account level reporting, orchestration of communications across departments, outbound sales plays

Using Engagio in inbound world

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature of Engagio is being able to utilize the platform to schedule touches for your target accounts in a meaningful fashion, the level of interaction needed from our sales development team help to keep them engaged with the leads we generate for their target accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because the platform is just coming into it's own, there are several features that still need to be baked out, especially in the Playmaker platform. There are several missing integrations with SFDC tasks that could help smooth out the task management process. If Engagio is the sole source of truth for the sales development team, there are additional clicks that are need to make calls that slow down the qualification process.
There are also synchronization issues between SFDC reports and views when trying to reference in SFDC. When I work with Engagio support, I'm told that these are issues on SFDC side and not much insight into how these issues are being addressed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engagio is solving for keeping marketing, sales development and the sales organization tightly aligned around the same target accounts and key verticals. Using Engagio helps to ensure that marketing programs are informed about the accounts that matter to the rest of the organization and in turn solves for driving return on investment for marketing programs. Having a logical reach out process for qualified leads through target accounts and personas ensure that leads are worked through our SLA process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think of your process, and how this will work with your existing sales development process. Buy-in from your team is imperative for this solution to be fully realized

Great ABM solution, currently syncing with Marketo

What do you like best about the product?
Engagio's platform integrates well with Marketo — helps both our marketing and sales teams understand which accounts are engaging, which marketing efforts are impacting key accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike at the moment. It's a relatively new company which simply means there is more to come, looking forward to future updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simplifying the sales process, report on Account influence

Amazing tool giving insight into business opportunity

What do you like best about the product?
Great UI- very easy to use with very good interface with SalesForce and automated reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints at this point- two months post implementation and about 1/8 of the way thru the lead matching process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to move outlying leads to the appropriate accounts, allow visibility into actions on both Top Prospects as well as Customer interaction. It has been a game changer for identifying opportunities that have gone dark that are still interacting with our site and content as well as for identifying possible additional engaged prospect contacts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend Engagio to a great part of an ABM strategy.

What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly, ability to report data issues
News alerts are SUPER awesome and customisable
Very easy to setup CRM lists - i.e. tell me news about my Q2 pipeline, etc
What do you dislike about the product?
Used to be cheaper to download data
Some info for some regions (APAC) could be better but there is a huge investment happening here
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring that all target accounts are listed, finding key contacts

Do a trial - InsideView are amazing about helping you run a trial with setup, data, training, etc

higher CPC cost and limited to display advertising, display based ads limit conversion rate and direct lead gen attribution

Powerful Nurture Tool

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Demandbase was the insight we had into web analytics which then allowed us to understand our reach and understand our targets and industries. We are also able to nurture well through this tool without it falling through the cracks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The speed at which the data was received took quite a long time as well as the reach into other markets was difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are finally able to see who we are targeting and the industries that are important to use. The analytics are crucial.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Complete due diligence before setting up a system of any kind.

Powerful tool for account based marketing

What do you like best about the product?
It gives both marketing and our inside sales reps a unified view of an account--from engagement both online and offline, to account coverage. This unified view, coupled with the google chrome extension that they provide, increases our BDRs productivity and call quality when doing account-based prospecting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation is lengthy, and the sync between Engagio and Marketo is time consuming. Going on 4 weeks for our full sync.

The fact that leads are only matched to accounts every 24 hours is a drawback, but they are constantly improving that delay. In an ideal world, leads would be instantly matched to accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lead to account matching in Salesforce is the key problem that we are solving, but we invision expanding Engagio to cover account based marketing and prospecting initiatives by our marketing and SDR teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The product roadmap is quite forward-thinking and we look forward to some of the new features that Engagio will be implementing.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about Demandbase is the valuable insights that we have been able to drive and integrate with our web analytics to truly understand our impact and reach to specific industries and targets.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest dislike with Demandbase, as with any of their comparable products, is the reach or accuracy in foreign markets such as Japan, China, Brazil....
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were solving the inability to truly identify who was visiting our site and retargeting them. We had a basic understanding, but with Demandbase's extensive knowledgebase, we have been able not only identify who these individuals are, but also customize the content that is being served upon their entry to our site.

Great for nurture

What do you like best about the product?
The way that we could get the data into our MAP was simply and customizable to work with our filters. It made segmentation great for all of our nurture efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Obviously, we would love getting more data and having more leverage with the speed that the data is provided. But it seems to be a limitation of everyone in the space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to get all of the information possible in our MAP before creating leads or contacts in SFDC.

Make sure your data management processes are detailed and locked down.
