Inside View is an outstanding offering with pretty accurate information on thousands of businesses
What do you like best about the product?
Email addresses and direct dials are at no additional charge, Hoovers charges a small fortune for the same data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. It works as advertised. Great offering for any salesperson.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I get contacts and inside information that I need in a timely fashion.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get it. Comes Free with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, so get the best CRM and get Inside View for free, that is this centuries bargain !!!

What do you like best about the product?
With the integration with Sales Force, everything I need is at an eyes view. Company Information, People and up to date news. I am able to build a prospect list from this and easily import into Sales Force.
What do you dislike about the product?
Updated prospect/contact information not current, provides the generic information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am prospecting a Company, I need to know who there competition is, that is all there at my fingertips. No longer having to "google" all of this saves me a ton of time.
Great value
What do you like best about the product?
Access to email formats for companies. This helps exponentially in prospecting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some information is not up to date. I find about 80% of information to be accurate, but it can be frustrating to not be able to instantly correct the information, albeit understandably so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can build massive lists that help me scope out whole regions of interest in seconds. This is a major time-saving feature, especially given the time-pit prospecting can be.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have another resource like LinkedIn to support your searches. I find that verifying information across multiple databases returns the best results though InsideView by itself is a great starting point!

I wish that the insights were more tailored toward my industry.

Solving the ability to quickly recognize organizational size and location. I ahve realized a lot more efficency in my day to da role.

The ease of use and the ability for the information to be right there when looking for certain individuals

At times there is so much information that it can tend to run together.

The benefits is having a lot of information available to you to be able to sort through for an accurate understanding.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to qualify my prospect so that I am not wasting a whole lot of time on the opportunity.
What do you dislike about the product?
From what I have seen in the marketplace, Insideview is the most complete, but it would be nice to get a nice report or a company snap shot

Learning about the prospect and their specific industry and what questions to ask. Have made sales because of it.
Good for overall prospecting but the details need work
What do you like best about the product?
It's nice to have all of this information in one central location. Being able to look up someone's title, linkedin, phone, email, and other figures is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The information is not as accurate as they presented. I've found that I need to verify every prospect that I add into our CRM because 40% of the time it's an inactive person who has changed companies. Also, it doesn't integrate LinkedIn into our CRM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're making prospecting easier. The benefits are making that process faster but the problem is that it's not as accurate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool but just be ready to have to verify every person that you're prospecting because it's not always accurate.
Great Product. A bit expensive for SMB companies
What do you like best about the product?
The reverse IP lookup provides company data that is useful for lead scoring. It uses a nestled query which helps improve the accuracy of the results. It also does the lookup before the form is submitted which saves on form processing or Marketing Automation delays.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish their pricing was more flexible for SMB companies (use based). It's hard to justify an ROI when costs are platform based and not use based. At our current lead volume, it would be cheaper to do a reverse IP lookup and then query a data provider like ZoomInfo or Data.com.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The major advantage is that we are able to shorten forms and increase conversions by doing form data appends. We also get validation on some of the fields we do ask for.
Quickly research and build prospect lists
What do you like best about the product?
When identifying new prospects in Salesforce you can quickly get information on that account, related accounts and employees. Data instantly syncs and updates Salesforce. Also like the ability to follow a company and automatically get news alerts for it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the Salesforce integration is dated. Would like to see this upgraded so you can sync with custom fields.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes with a new lead you only have the name of the company and Insideview allows us to fill in the blanks. We can also research a prospect company and find appropriate contact within that company.
