DB is laying the foundation for our growth marketing strategies and should be a game changer

What do you like best about the product?
The technology itself is really impressive, but I believe the way the platform was built is what makes it truly amazing. As marketers, we all know that at the end of the day, other vendors offer similar solutions with intent data, campaign orchestration, etc. What sets DemandBase apart is the way it does all of that. It's easy to use and customize, easy to turn relevant data into actions, and easy to analyze data using specific filters, etc. Overall, DemandBase makes it really easy to pilot a true ABM strategy—without all the 'clunkiness' of other platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, the only downside is the way we are paying for paid advertising. Without projecting spend for the whole quarter or even the year, we need to keep requesting specific IOs every time we are running out of money. It would be much easier to be able to add a credit card and pay this way, as some of your competitors already do—or at least eliminate the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DB is helping us build a more holistic view of our prospect journey and run targeted campaigns that impact the right organizations. In the near future, we expect to use this to accurately identify new opportunities and move them to Sales.

What do you like best about the product?
I like having the ability to connect all of my marketing and sales tech to DB1. I am able to build prospective audiences, find the right contacts, and push out to said channels. I also like that we have a client team that is incredibly supportive, quick thinking, and willing to roll up his sleeves to help us solve a problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one area of opportunity for DB1 is contact data for small to mid-size businesses. Our ICP is a mix of mid-size to Enterprise companies, with an emphasis on diversifying the company size of our client portfolio in 2025. While there are so many great features and benefits to DB1, this gap led us to having to purchase a competitive tool to meet our needs.

When making a case to renew once our contract expires, this will likely become a point of contention again. To some fault of our own, we haven't maximized the tool's abilities but we also haven't can't directly track back a win or revenue to the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to quickly find and build audiences based on technographics we know our customers use. From there, I can launch a campaign, pushing those contacts directly into my email or ad platform.

What do you like best about the product?
It provides fast and accurate results, it's very easy to find the data I need on a daily basis. I like being able to search within the system, I was able to get information on all the contacts I needed. I love how quick and easy it is to find information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a bit more customization regarding the interface, sometimes the information if offers is outdated. The price is a bit higher compared to other products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this product on a daily basis because the information is very accurate, it provides accurate contact information for potential customers. It was very easy to find exactly what I needed, the contact details are very accurate.

Incredibly powerful tool with top notch customer service

What do you like best about the product?
Demandbase allows our team to effectively build out ABM campaigns with speed and scale that is unique to other DSPs. We meet regularly with their reps and have found them to be the most engaged, friendly team we have encountered in the paid media space in a long time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve with Demandbase due to the volume of options available to you. Also a bit of a downside is that it is an account tool so it's harder to see individual activity, but that is to be expected based on the entire premise of ABM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are leveraging Demandbase to create ABM campaigns that service our Sales and Field Marketing teams through prescriptive audience building and targeting using highly segmented advertising messages. We connect Demandbase to our SalesForce tool to ensure there is a match up in the accounts we are targeting and measurable lift.

Excellent Customer Support

What do you like best about the product?
Rob is ever present - even when off site. Rob's response time and enthusiasm to support our team has been excellent. He has offered up ideas when problem solving and cares that we are successful in our endeavors. To me, Customer Support is critical and I know I can always count on Rob to answer my questions and guide me on the platform to be successful.
I find this platform easy to use for my role and I see much opportunity for our company to be successful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything with regards to the platform or the support that I do not like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to identify engaged accounts and streamline our marketing efforts both on the ABM side and internally for email campaigns. In the past we just threw a bunch of spaghetti at the wall and said those are our targets.
Now we can see who is engaged with our company and really focus our efforts on accounts that want to hear about us and our offerings. This leads to better metrics all the way around.

What do you like best about the product?
I love data. Customized and relevant to what I think I need or want, plus some extra, is so valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no example "standard" set ups. I know that's the point, this is fully customizable, but in the beginning, it would have bene helpful to see. Perhaps in the future, there will be a questionnaire or flow that a customer could go through to tell the program what actions are useful but in a "wizard" kind of way that then can then go in and customize later.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Who are the best accounts to prospect, by showing me who is most valuable based on what I value.

What do you like best about the product?
The team we had to install and maintain DemandBase is by far one of the best groups I've ever worked with. We bring them new use cases, issues, etc. and they are so quick to get to work on helping us figure out a solution. I admin 12 different tools, this is the most engaged team I've had the pleasure of working with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool can be a bit complicated at times with the sheer number of features available. It can be quite daunting to get comfortable with the platform, but in a different light this would be a positive. It takes a second to start seeing the brilliance, but once you do, the tool is able to handle most, if not all, your needs for an ABM platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us know which accounts to prioritize and helps our sellers track down prospects to engage with.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ability to discover emails of people I've had a hard time finding. I also like the color coding probabilities of verified emails/phones. with Demandbase One we can find new leads/prospects and also learn more about leads that are already in the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
It may be useful to remove personal email addresses. The cost is a bit high if you sign up as a subscriber (for an individual). However, it can be competitive for organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Demandbase One is a great research tool. It gives you the opportunity to contact potential customers quickly and efficiently. I love the My contacts section, where they collect all your searches and make them available for you to download so you can own your list.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to see which prospects may need a touchpoint. I like having the heatmap and other engagement insights available in the profile, rather than having to look at the marketing dashboard. The news feature is also very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The contact information for the very specific titles we target seem to be lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a one-stop platform for prospect research providing insight into their intent, news, contacts, family tree, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
For the past six years, I've had the privilege of leveraging Demand base, both as an Account Executive driving new business and as a Presales leader supporting complex enterprise sales cycles. My experience spans the full spectrum of its capabilities, from basic account research to highly strategic, data-driven engagement. Overall, Demand base has been an invaluable tool, significantly impacting my success and the success of my teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much not to like, however I would like the tool to leverage more AI from a front end user perspective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Demandbase is giving me the information needed to understand our clients key goals and objectives. It allows for me to understand the client hierarchy and organization set up, and alows me to leverage that in my everyday processes.
