Great tool for Insight on your Prospects/Accounts

What do you like best about the product?
There are a few things I like with DB. First, we can get insight and possible purchase trends with certain accounts/prospects that we are targeting or not targeting. Second, we can see the customer's journey and what content they used to map what they saw previous to purchase.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if it had even more accurate data for example the actual contact info from the person who is diving into our website. I know this data is difficult to get but if there was a way they could it would be the next level of a sales tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What DB is helping with on our ABM strategy is to see which accounts have a general interest in purchasing our SW, we can see what assets or pages they are looking at on our website. It helps us narrow our target accounts when conducting our cold outbound strategies.

Platform that delivers

What do you like best about the product?
The prebuilt dashboards are easy to use and easily filterable. I could focus my time and making sure my connections were set up and thinking about strategy instead of having to worry about how I was going to find the data I would need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very small but I'd love to be able to customize the platform to our brand colors so it was easier to pull data directly out of the platform into a report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Targeting to our top accounts and focusing on our brand depth within each of those accounts, this is a huge motion for our sales organization. Without the support of DemandBase it would be a lot harder to prove our efforts were reaching the accounts we needed to.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability for us to be able to configure as much as possible custom, as well as having a good library of default reports, lists and dashboards that act as a launchpad for future enhancements and optimizations. The support team at Demandbase is also extremely helpful and get back to you sometimes right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the most part, using this platform is pretty pain-free. There are very few instances where I'm disappointed with something on the platform, and usually, the root cause is my own user error. For example, there are some steps that are not crystal clear when learning the platform that would lower the learning curve tremendously and help you master the platform more quickly if it was more clear how to get to where you wanted to go, rather than by trial and error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralizing swaths of data in one place from multiple platforms has helped us unify strategies and teams for success.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have a designated POC for Demandbase issues and use an API user for all of your integrations, or someone's credentials expiring can cause the whole system to fall out of sync.

I love it tracks what prospects are looking at, but also tracks the competition.

Very difficult to run reports or export. It woule great if there was more digestable info

Providing us insight who is visiting what on our website. Also shows what blogs or newsletters they are part of

What do you like best about the product?
Simple account scoring system provided that integrates into SFDC for reporing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot that you can do within Demandbase, sometimes you need help or additional training to get everything you need out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping my pipeline generation efforts on track with customers who are researching our speace.

Activity minutes and heatmaps are a great way to view things at a glance.

I wish there was integration with salesnav/zoominfo/other prospecting tools as a way to find people outside of our CRM.

Great Platform to See Marketing ROI

What do you like best about the product?
We can see the impact our marketing campaigns are having on revenue and which types of campaigns or content work best to engage our named accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating reports isn't super easy. It could have a more user-friendly interface, especially when going back and forth between Basic and Advanced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can track marketing investments and see impact pretty quickly, for both engagement and financial return. This enables us to choose which future campaigns to invest more or less into to increase impact.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Invest time in training, work with Customer Success to set up reports, and ask lots of questions.

Demandbase ABX Cloud is a Game-changer for our Sales and Marketing teams

What do you like best about the product?
The Demandbasebase ABX cloud is a powerful and feature-packed platform that cements our marketing and sales partnership. Because the ABX Cloud combines data from each major piece of our marketing technology stack, from first-party data that is in SFDC and Marketo, to buying intent, propensity modeling, pipeline position tracking and makes all of that data actionable across the majority of our digital channels. The best part of all of this is the user interface - the platform offers powerful pre-built and fully customizable, fully featured reports, dashboards, email digests, rollups, summaries, heatmaps, timeline charts, all drillable and inspectible from list to account to person to activity level. There really is no platform like the ABX cloud that integrates and delivers cross-channel full funnel data like Demandbase.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of the massive amount of data the platform is working with, some functions can be a bit slow. Particularly activity reports that are considering a large amount of contacts/leads/accounts and their associated activities over a long period of time can take a long time to load. This has been greatly improved since the team moved our tenant on to better servers, but it is definitely still possible to bite off more than the system can chew. TBH this is more of a user error/training issue than a platform problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using the ABX cloud to increase our average deal size, increase the number of sales opportunities we have with larger companies, and enable our sales and marketing organizations with real-time information into our target accounts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Before you start getting demos for an ABX cloud solution, you should be very clear about what you need to do to be successful. Make a list of must-haves in the platform and push those must-haves with the vendors.
