What do you like best about the product?
The most engaged executives section provides good quality contacts

It can be difficult to navigate around. Hard to get a walkthrough from Demandbase Support

Prospecting is much easier. Reaching out to relevant contacts who are actively engaging with our website
Like a radar for finding prospects
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to see which accounts are on our website or in the market for our offering, helps us pinpoint who to reach out to. and produce results more quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
If the contact from the account on your website is not within your CRM, then you won't be able to identify which contact from that account was on your site, which can increase difficulty with targeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When prospecting, timing is everything and with Demandbase, we are able to take out the guesswork from who to reach out to.

Saving lots of time prospecting. Finding good accounts and being able to bring up relevant topics
Great Demand Gen Tool
What do you like best about the product?
DemandBase makes it easy to target prospects and see prospect activity and Intent. The integration with Salesforce is top notch and easy to use. This can be a great addition to traditional outreach campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can be fairly steep for some parts of the tool, but functionality is extremely solid. You can definitely get yourself into trouble depending on how you set up the intent keyword, whether it be too broad or too narrow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Demandbase is filling the gaps between top of the funnel prospects and those that have completed a form fill on our site. We get great insight into new verticals.

The ability to create campaigns in areas where we know we have exposure

There isn't much to not like. Would need to dig deeper

It allows us to find out where we are specifically getting exposure

The intent and score provided. Is a good start point to initiate an outreach.

Better tracking of how is showing intent. Better cookies and tags so the info can be actionable in a faster and more convenient way.

Good tool to understand potential clients intent signals and behavior around your marketing and information assets.

It is a great business intelligence and intent tracker for your Sales team. Also can see a good fit for marketing campaigns and tracking that into demand generation.
Continually Improving
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Demandbase (previsously Inside View) for almost 2 years and I have seen steady improvements in the quality and variety of data they are collecting and providing to us users. It is simple and easy to use, provides extensive data on the customer's infrastructure software as well as employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they covered the supply chain applications in a little greater detail or granularity and I wish there was more connectivity to Hubspot CRM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for target account marketing and to make sure I am communicating with the correct people within my accounts - it also cross references to LinkedIN.
Demandbase helps sales professionals know WHO, WHY, and WHEN to reach out to prospects
What do you like best about the product?
Demandbase helps me as an SDR have better insight into which of my accounts are worth focusing my time and efforts into reaching out to. With hundreds of different accounts I'm responsible for, having statistics available about which accounts are visiting our company site or exploring solutions similar to ours, this tool helps me have the best chance of catching someone at the right time.
What do you dislike about the product?
If an organization is too large, and data is not available about WHO exactly is researching our solution, the data generated by demandbase is seemingly useless. Notably though, this of course is only with some accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems that Demandbase helps me solve include prioritization, shaping of messaging around relevant value drivers, and the identification of interested individuals.
Not The Greatest ABM Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The intent data and engagement data are somewhat helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software seems to lag quite often, which creates frustration if you need to put a presentation together. Some of the insights they provide can easily be duplicated with cheaper software. With this in mind, the price is a bit too expensive for what you actually get.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Demandbase has helped with our lead scoring, customer engagement, retention, and other key metrics.

It is good at showing me a company that has interacted but not a specific person, so I'm never too sure who exactly to reach out to.
