About Optensity

Optensity's founders met while we were building software systems for processing sensor data. We were continually developing custom systems to exploit each new data source. These systems often took months to build and were difficult to adapt to changing analytic needs. We decided there must be a better way. We founded Optensity to build AppSymphony - so we could put the power of global scale big data, structured, unstructured and multimedia, directly into the hands of the users that must extract actionable information from the data.
