Smart city: IoT Analytics

Visualize data from your smart city devices so you can act to maintain reliability, availability, and performance.

Monitoring smart city data sources like video feeds, air quality levels, weather trends, and traffic data can be difficult, as is aggregating and analyzing all the data itself. Public sector organizations need to convert information from various devices into valuable insights to help advance their goals. Dashboard platforms enable users to combine maps, graphs, gauges, and data streams into a real-time, interactive data visualization dashboard. In addition to showing the current state of your environment, dashboards can track how certain metrics change over a specific timeframe to help measure performance.

Bug Labs

Bug Labs' freeboard platform enables public sector organizations to build real-time, interactive dashboards and visualizations to track smart city data. From tracking air quality levels and general weather trends to area construction and news, the freeboard platform allows combinations of data to be viewed in one simple and shareable URL.

Bug Labs' freeboard platform makes it possible to combine maps, graphs, and gauges to build a smart home and smart city dashboard, with the option to connect third-party APIs to the freeboard platform directly, via plugin, or using the standard JSON data source. Organizations can connect to the AWS IoT API via the freeboard platform or use dweet.io to import their data.

Here's how it works:

(1) Connect to AWS data sources, JSON or custom data sources from devices, APIs and sites such as dweet.io

(2) Add a standard widget or create new ones using HTLM using a click-through interface

(3) Customize the dashboard and add custom colors using CSS and

(4) Share the dashboard as a public or private by adding users with read-only or edit access
