Small Business Administration (SBA) Loans (7a and 504)

Over 1.6M loans guaranteed by the SBA to small businesses as part of their 7(a) and 504 Loan programs.

7(a) Loans: SBA 7(a) loans are for a maximum of $2 million, with SBA loan guarantee of no more than $1.5 million (75%).

504 Loans: The 504 Loan Program provides approved small businesses with long-term, fixed-rate financing used to acquire fixed assets for expansion or modernization. 504 loans are made available through Certified Development Companies (CDCs), SBA's community based partners for providing 504 Loans.

Data includes the borrower's name, ZIP code, congressional district, and NAICS industry code as well as the loan amount, term current status and issuing bank details.

Data is not updating frequently at source. On April 27, 2020, data for 7(a) loans, though labeled as available for 2010-present, only goes up to 2019. Data for 504 loan data labeled as 1991-present, is also only available up to 2019. Enigma is regularly checking for updates.
