The Databricks Lakehouse solution unifies the best of data warehouses and data lakes in a single platform to handle data and analytics use cases. This platform is used to ingest, transform and enrich data into a format ready for data analysis and reporting.

Microsoft Power BI is a class-leading interactive data visualisation tool used to create reports and dashboards from the Data Lakehouse. Power BI allows staff to visualise and discover what’s important and share insights across the organisation.

How we do it

The Idea 11 Data & Analytics Accelerator is delivered in a two-week agile sprint led by an experienced Idea 11 Solution Architect to deliver a production Data and Analytics solution to build on.

1. Discovery: We perform a workshop with you to understand your use case, data sources, reporting needs and the way that we’ll work.
2. Foundations: We establish the foundations of a Data Lakehouse using AWS and Databricks
3. Engineering: We engineer workflows to ingest and transform data into your new Data Lakehouse
4. Analysis: We build reports on Power BI to deliver your use case and your initial business value, and we’ll walk you through it
5. Discuss: We complete with a discussion on next steps.
