Hi,

Your support and services are of poor quality

1. Your system is so much complex to handle

2. Support team does not support software issues. You have given software addons to install but not providing support.

3. I waited 15-20 min for a phone call support .

4. Your technical staff does not know basic tweaks

5. Overall bad experience

Thanks
Vipan

No Instructions Whatsoever

Supposedly this should have been a one-click installation after which i could just go to my-ip:2087. At the end I couldnt get there even after installing the software and turning on the web server. There is ZERO help online for this.

lack of new instances support, not re-attachable EBS

It's kinda abandoned, it doesn't have support for new types of instances and you can't re-attach the EBS to another instance to recover data or failure.

Not suitable for production (that's a shame because it's an official release)

DO NOT USE CentOS AMIs from AWS Marketplace!!!!

If the EBS boot volume can't boot for any reason, there is no way to fix it, or copy data from it. AWS Marketplace AMIs CAN NOT be attached to another instance as a secondary volume for debug or data retrieval. Completely unacceptable in my opinion, and there is no reason for it because CentOS is open source.

There are many CentOS community AMIs which do not have this restriction I suggest AMIs from Bashton (http://www.bashton.com/blog/2013/centos-6-4-ami-available/); I've also had good results with the RightImage CentOS AMIs.
