Excellent Product

What do you like best about the product?
It enables us to transform data at the latest stage rather than in ETL loads, so it's more ELT which is one of the advantages. It is also in near real-time, which brings significant advantage for our embedded analytics approach.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support-wise, this solution is in need of improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- centralization of several databases, data streaming.
- Load reduction: Keeping a complete or partial copy of a collection on a different
server reduces the load on the main server.
- Improved service: Accessing a copy of the data can provide better service to
users than having them access the original data.
- Restricted data access: If some users should only have access to a subset of
data, replicating only part of a collection makes it easy to enforce security
restrictions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
the technique used for replication, ease of use, transformation options, multiple destinations (targets), and origins (source) or Perhaps the form of licensing by the database core is bad, easy to use.
Integrity: The target data must reflect the complete result of all changes made to
the source data during the replication process.
Consistency: If a change affects different tables, rows, or files, the copy must
reflect these changes consistently across all affected tables, rows, or files.
Latency: The replication process must aim at keeping latency at a minimum.
Ideally, it should not exceed a few seconds.

CDC Solution with bonus Simple ETL Feature

What do you like best about the product?
I used Qlik Replicate (formerly Attunity Replicate) from 2019 , ny company have huge OLTP per day perminute even per second, with Qlik Replicate our data from OLTP can be distribute in near real-time to our Data Warehouse. Before that , our apps can use data from OLTP with Day-1 Data (yesterday) , now our apps can use same day data indirectly its really helps our business process and operational to achive our company target. I personally love the ability to replicate into multiverse database, CDC Feature & Operation Indicator function from Qlik Replicate
What do you dislike about the product?
maybe we need some feature like if ..else.. then.. / if zero value then.. else.. . just like ifnull() function .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CDC feature is not supported in Oracle 12c SE2 , Qlik Replicate is the solution to this.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
if you search to replicate your database to another platform , then Qlik Replicate is your choice! you can do simple ETL, to fullfill your needs.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked this product CDC feature which capture real-time DML and DDL and by using this you can apply analytics on your current data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, Trial version is available with limited endpoints I think it should be available with more endpoints so that everyone can try accordingly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In Other Data Ingestion tool, you need connectors, some sort of Coding but using this you need only connection string (Endpoint username and Password with port number)

Near real-time replication into Amazon Redshift

Bytecode IO was tasked with implementing an end-to-end data warehousing and analytics solution using Amazon Redshift for community travel site Couchsurfing. With the pressures of an aggressive timeline and a lean budget, loading and replicating real-time changes from Amazon RDS MySQL to Amazon Redshift was challenging and complex. I turned to the AWS Marketplace and found Attunity CloudBeam for Amazon Redshift.

Attunity CloudBeam’s load performance was remarkable and it simplified our ETL solution allowing us to avoid months of development work. We were originally faced with an estimated 3 months of manual development work and CloudBeam cut that down to just three hours. Easy Setup, Reliable Performance

We had a business need to develop a continuous flow of data from an internal SQL Server instance to a Redshift cluster. After doing some research and discovering Attunity CloudBeam, it quickly became evident that the cost savings of using Attunity Cloudbeam over developing a custom solution would be substantial. The initial setup was extremely easy, and we were pushing millions of records to our Redshift cluster within an hour of downloading the software. Additionally, the ability to use global transformations in the ETL process has proven to be a huge benefit to our goals.

We would highly recommend Attunity CloudBeam to anyone looking for an easy and reliable solution for loading data to Redshift.

Easy Setup & High performance

Our Company Agile ISS has implemented the poc for Amazon redshift at our client site Universal Music Group. Once the poc got approved we had moved all the massive historical data of 30 TB size into red shift using Attunity cloud beam in Quick time.

The set up is so easy and we are up and running the cloud beam server and could able to move the data from SQL server to redshift all in few hours. The manual effort that would be required to do the same task,the time and cost involoved would be way high when compared to Attunity. we can confidently recommend Attunity CloudBeam to others looking to ease the data load process.

Superb Product and Customer Support

Our organization has a specific business requirement to analyze large amounts of data per engagement with a client. Most often, these data sources are formatted in a variety of manners, yet all need to be analyzed in an enterprise warehouse. We choose to use the AWS Redshift environment to manage and analyze, as it best met our needs.

The challenge was how to effectively run an ETL process quickly into an environment which was still in the early phases of being deployed within the organization. We found the AWS AMI – Attunity CloudBeam for Amazon Redshift solution via their YouTube Channel and it was clear this service would meet our needs for rapid ETL. Within less than 2 hours of starting the AWS AMI we loaded a 37M row by 170 column wide data set into Redshift.

As part of the AMI setup process, we needed some assistance from Attunity. Within minutes of contacting the company, we received a phone call back from Attunity Cloud Support offering assistance regarding the matter. The Cloud Support representative resolved the call within 5 minutes and we were up and running 10 minutes later!

Attunity has now become a vital part of our data processing stack. We would highly recommend them based on ease of use, the user environment, the capabilities, and the personalized and professional support they offer for their product.

Etix set out to make transactional data available in Amazon Redshift for the purpose of analytics. When attempting to load data from on-prem Oracle to Amazon, we encountered challenges in the way of development work, cost, delays in data availability, and the potential for on-going maintenance.

To solve the data loading challenges, Etix chose Attunity CloudBeam. Within hours, setup was complete and data was on its way. Attunity CloudBeam allowed us to quickly assess the viability of Amazon Redshift and start showing the value to internal stakeholders.
