What do you like best about the product?
I like it Because it's a secure and Robust Operating System.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not user Friendly and many peoples don't like to work in command line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are managing our all servers with the help of red hat Linux. Because this OS is virus-free no one can hack it easily and access and it's very secure

Robust server OS, for many roles

What do you like best about the product?
I like RHEL's performance, the support, the great breadth of software available, and the ubiquity (which means there is a lot of community support available when I am trying something new to me). They also publish a lot of good security analysis that's free to the world, which has value to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain services that make up RHEL are complex, and the vendor doesn't provide great support. (For example, SSSD or Satellite.) As often as not, we have to figure out our own solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed an alternative to Solaris on SPARC hardware, and RHEL on VMware offered lower costs, better compatibility with our core COTS products, and a wide selection of qualified candidates to be sysadmins. It also runs really well in AWS, which is fantastic.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Right now, RHEL is the best choice for Linux in the enterprise. OEL is too expensive for little added value, and the other distros lack Red Hat's great support.

What do you like best about the product?
1. Ease of access
2. Easy yet so powerful
3. Better than MS Windows if you know how to use
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such since I have been using it frequently
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using RHEL for our products such Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL and in fact now MSSQL also. Brilliant OS overall

RHEL is pure Linux breed!

What do you like best about the product?
It is well known and well regarded and has extensive community support. RHEL is a hybrid of CentOS and Fedora. The most liked qualities of RHEL that stand out from other distributions is that it supports comprehensive package managers, extensive manual for almost every command, and is scalable. Its inherent feature of handling large distributed databases on the RHEL server makes it easier to use and create backups for production data tables. In addition, I like the reliability of the OS during high usage.
What do you dislike about the product?
RHEL with the license claims to remain up to date always for business-grade and enterprise-level dependencies. However, this can be compensated because a feature is released in RHEL only when tested among a broad user base.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The distributed data on our RHEL server supports our client through the Google Cloud Platform. The RHEL is live on our cloud machine, and it runs 24*7 for our client to help their customers. Due to RHEL support and GCP's cloud partnership, RHEL automatic updates have become readily available. The machine can host 1L users to enable interactive use on the web application.

What do you like best about the product?
Their support and the proven yum package management system
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as many repositories as some other distributions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solid production quality rack mount servers to handle data transfers to our ERP
Recommendations to others considering the product:

RHEL has always been wonderful since I started with Linux.

What do you like best about the product?
I am not your average user. I generally use forums for help and this is why RHEL is great! It is very easy to generally find someone who is trying to accomplish the same thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't care for any of the GUI's they make some stuff easier but for the most part it is much nicer to just use CLI for everything. Now Windows has brought command line even.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We generally use it for quote a few application servers and a couple web servers. They just run and don't require much to patch them. I don't have a bunch so I just do them each.
