Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ase of which it is to use the platform, especially for creating dashboards. Also, that I can have multiplen data sources which let me integrate them intoone dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be pretty expensive which makes it hard to justify to the accounting types. Also, on occassion I have had some perfrmance issues in termsof speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Have a lot of different systems which I needed to create dashboards against. By using QlikView i could get most of the systems to pull data from and then manipulate the data to create dashboards. It was pretty fast once I had the data coming in.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
While it is easy touse. I would suggest going through the tutorials and getting an understanding of the different functions.I was able to self-learn but I could have saved sometimeif only I was a little more patient initially.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Evaluated Qlik for building a data warehouse solution for a medium enterprise. The problems being solved would be ad-hoc and self-serve reporting - dashboarding - scorecard creation - and executive reporting.

Ask questions and play around to get yourself familiarize with the tool and use the plug-in. The forums are helpful and the plug-ins are useful and helps avoid recreating the wheel. This is an incredible tool to modernize and revolutionize the way you do BI.
Like any other analytics tool, Qlikview is really good at showing and allowing users to explore data quickly and easily. If you give them access to bad data is it surface quickly.
