Qliksense: Powerful End To End Data Tool
What do you like best about the product?
1. Very powerful visualization 2. End to end ETL process along with data storage doubling up as a data warehouse 3. Community of extensions and products to extend the platform 4. Use of use for end users

1. Lack of real -time/streaming mechanism 2. Lack of good source control and deployment mechanisms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of centralized data platform environment was the problem we set out to solve. With Qlik, we now have everything centralized and users have a powerful way to visualize data
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Train end users well to get them to adopt the platform fully. Stay connected to Qlik community to get the most out of new solutions and products. Build a robust deployment toolset and source code control

Qlik Sense stimulates the democratization of data
What do you like best about the product?
Qlik Sense is the perfect modern Business Intelligence tool for data extraction, data transformation, data analytics and data insight. The interface is user friendly and encourage users to use the benefits of the self-service functionalities. Qlik Sense keep also in mind that data need to governed and users must able to see the difference between self-service and guided data, apps, sheets and visualisations. Qlik Sense has several deployment possibilities that meets the business requirements. For example it is possible to deploy on-premis, SaaS, PaaS or a combination of these options (hybrid)
What do you dislike about the product?
Data is always around us and the data volumes are still growing. This makes it important for the new generation to get data literated during their education. They need to know how to analyse data and what this means. Qlik Sense should be great tool for the new generation to get familiar with data analytics. However Qlik does not offering Qlik Sense Desktop for free anymore. This makes it difficult for the new generation to get experience with Qlik Sense. The trial license for 30 days is not enough for them to get experienced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Qlik Sense helps users to create quickly insights/Visualization. The deployment of Qlik Sense is flexibel to meet the business requirements. For example On-premise, SaaS or both (hybrid). It is quite easy to migrate from QlikView to Qlik Sense and offering the same functionality. The license model of Qlik support dual-use of QlikView and Qlik Sense. Users are able to get familiar with Qlik Sense and using QlikView in the meantime.

Don't hesitate just choose Qlik Sense

Some front end functionality is limited, minor frustrations with things like datetime formats, etc.

I'm working on a data/BI team to support a global media company. There is a huge amount of data is generated each day, and Qlik Sense has helped us to dig through and parse out the important metrics to show business users.

Take the time to learn the basics and understand the pros vs. cons when comparing to other BI tools

What do you like best about the product?
There are lot of visualizations available such as creating different apps including charts of various types as well as maps. You can either connect directly to different sources to extract the data. You can also build and share with your teams

It is a little bit technical tool and you need to go through training to understand and learn the capabilities of the tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To create intuitive dashboards or reports for the business users to give them better visualization of the data. It helps them in better decision making. We also use to automate some of the repetitive reports as well
Intuitive development and end user experience with quick delivery
What do you like best about the product?
Simple, easy, and quick development experience with extensive data modeling capabilities for full ETL and complex data transformations
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no global way to apply number formatting requiring extremely tedious manual configurations for every field in every chart. Also the Insights generated are pretty terrible.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using this tool for long time, I am a satisfied customer of Qlik Sense which is providing me amazing services in getting rid of the complexities that are associated with my every day working. This is a cloud based application which is very easy to install as you can easily shift you data to it. It is the technical tool which helps in giving the better insight of the data. It has enabled me to easily search any particular aspect of the entire working of my organization and also I can now unfold the new ways of improving the analytical reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only the technical person can use it, if you want to implement this tool in your organization you are bound train your staff, thus a steep learning curve is always associated with it, Moreover I they provide no training videos about the software usage, which is not service oriental act.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool also assists me in automating the main and repetitive task thus I save my time and enhance the work smooth operation of the workflow. It is so much reliable that I found no difficulty in selecting any cloud for data revolution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I will not recommend this tool to all the companies but only I will suggest it to the retails business it will help you to have detailed analysis about your entire project working and thus you can have the better insight about your revenue.

I think the propertiespanel could use a kind of work, I would love to be able to choose to use the current panel or let it pop out so I have more space to work in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many problems, many benefits. Next to my lecuters job I work as a Manager in the commercial world and use the product at customers. Once I dit a project at the safety region here in the Netherlands and we saved 20 minutes in a process where time is of the greatest importance. Just by simply setting up a dashboard and reports with Qlik in the form of a process. This solution even won the price, the smartest organization in the Netherlands.

ease of use, power of grey, simplicity and the wow factor are things I like about Qlik.

Your learning curve at the beginning may be a little difficult to understand how to use the functions of this tool in a practical and effective way.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s been a short span of time since we have shifted to this software for having the detailed data analytics. It is very much diverse in its nature I always refer to it as associative analytics engine which has high performance cloud platform. Qlik Sense is my every day necessity for taking the best decisions for managing the complexities. Now due to its BI tools I feel very easy to search and explore the insights of entire data of my organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Qlik Sense is heavy software which sometimes makes my system slow. Also it is not that much user friendly, some technical knowledge is always associated with it. Further the reporting is not that much effective as compare to other data analytical tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This software automates most of the processes for me and helps to establish a data driven team. As I previously mentioned that it is diverse so it provides Saas for choosing any cloud for the data processing and provides multiple integrations and APIs which provides full control over the data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We are its new customers so I still we are discovering its various aspects. But it is very suitable for large business setups and especially for retail and manufacturing business it will benefit them the most.
QLIKSENSE - Power Of
What do you like best about the product?
We are a current user of QLIK Sense. We have been using it for over five years now. I am the QLIK Sense Champion. If you really dig deep into the creation of App and the manipulation of data, you can really do a lot with QLIK Sense and create a variety of different reports. We use QLIKSense for KPI Reports, Business Reports, like Sales and Purchasing Reports, etc. The speed of the software is impressive, and makes it much easier to use. You can filter data within seconds. The presentation is also clean and you can make some good looking apps that presents data cleanly and clearly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The QLIK specific coding language can be a barrier sometimes, and the app would benefit from more accurate and descriptive error messages and error checking. Sometimes the current error messages don't really tell me what is actually wrong with what I have defined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of our biggest problems when we sort out QLIK Sense was the reporting of sales data. We wanted to know how many sales we've had, we wanted to know our biggest customers, which customers had stopped buying, our best selling items, etc. QLIK Sense has allowed us to report on this, and much more. Currently, we are developing KPI reports for departments that are easy to read and automated.

Try to get to grip with the app creation, you can go far with it.
