Robust and easy to use ERP solution
What do you like best about the product?
The implementation from a prior ERP was time consuming, but once complete, all our data was easily accessible. Front and back office processes were streamlined allowing us to run and grow the business with fewer employees. The system is easy to use and comprehensive training modules are included.
What do you dislike about the product?
MRP lacks some of the features and capabilities which we had previously including automatic updates to the replenishment parameters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica's product configurator has streamlined our order entry process and by using the make to order functionality we significantly reduced our number of parts and bills of materials. Under the prior ERP, each possible configuration required a new part number and BOM.
Deploying Acumatica in the cloud rather than on in-house servers improved our data security and reliability. Less than 6 months after going live, our in-house servers crashed with no impact on day to day processing since Acumatica was not affected.

We are a valued add for imported telecommunication equipment and Acumatica solves our Direct Sales/Distribution/Ecommerce business model by allowing us to have an end to end solution with out a tone of ISV addons...

What do you like best about the product?
The freedom in reporting with GI's and Dashboards puts the data at your fingertips and enables high user engagement.

What do you dislike about the product?
Manufacturing suite is not mature yet with a variety of limitations and performance challenges related to bill of material mgmt, MRP flexibility, and manufactured good costing.

Inventory and financial visibility.
Easy to use for a non Accountant
What do you like best about the product?
We were trying to implement a unique manufacturing system. We tried other ERP systems, but they weren't flexible enough for our needs. Our Acumatica Consultant listened to us and we tried a couple of different configurations until we were able to lock down a configuration that allowed us to use the system in a way that completely aligned with our needs. None of our users had previous ERP (or accounting system background) but were able to be up and running with minimal training.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't have any dislikes with Acumatica.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were building with 3D printed parts and wanted full traceablility from the print filament to the end part. We were able to get that with Acumatica with their existing system. It also gave us the flexibility to quote new designs.
Acumatica is customizable with multiple modules to meet the needs in different parts of our company.
What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica is built on a framework that is quite customizable and can be adapted at least to some extent to the needs of our company. What has stood out to me the most is the fact that the acumatica employees that I have been in touch with are friendly, humble, and willing to listen to our feedback. The online forum is also a great place where you can learn from other users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because each module has been developed separately, there are still some weaknesses in how the modules work together and pass data between each other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The challenge for our company in finding the right ERP System is the fact that we have multiple parts of our company with varying needs:
- Project management in construction as a subcontractor
- Service management with scheduling of appointments for our service techincians
- Inventory management
- Financial reports and management of AR and AP
- Receipt/Processing of Credit Card/ACH Payments
- Payroll
Acumatica has helped us to meed these needs through the blending of multiple modules.

Excellent ERP System!
What do you like best about the product?
The breadth of features is what sold us at the beginning. The system is easy to use and maintain. I've used a lot of ERP systems over the years, and this one is by far the best. We love that we can integrate this with our other business systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Changing database fields or site map at upgrades. Ran into that a few times requiring report updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica has an "Ideas" section where uses can submit ideas for improvement. They do look at them and update the status if they move into the upgrade programming process.

Modern User Interface, Flexibility, Scalability, always being updated

Upgrades are not always easy due structural changes

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to attach files to almost everything
What do you dislike about the product?
No basic reports like "Sales". You have to create you own depending on a variety of options. Sales? Really?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like the automatch in Banking. Saves time and reduces errors.

What do you like best about the product?
It's ability to integrate with other systems is increasingly important and it eiminates errors that would be caused by mannual data loading and extraction. Acumatica has clear UX.
What do you dislike about the product?
Acumatica is complex and it takes time to understand it's interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica has made our work easier by automation process and reduces on the time that is spent in planning and production.
Newly Deployed Company
What do you like best about the product?
We spent 5 months prepping the system for launch with only 2 people involved in my company. Overall, this system gives us access to reporting that I never dreamed of compared to our last CRM/ERP. This is a good step forward as our small company continues to grow and have our needs exceed what our entry level system could provide.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish some fields/areas were more user friendly to adjust, rather than going into the back end reporting and coding to resolve. This typically comes into place with configuring columns/options when quoting, or fields we want required for users to fill out.
