Customized access to data
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ease and variety of ways to get transactions and data into the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The out of box reports are lacking and because of available customizations it can be tricky to verify that you are getting the correct data. We are considering a 3rd party solution for the financial reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica can handle a large amount of transactions and employees all working at once without significant slow downs. We are saving a lot of time that was spent waiting on other users in our legacy system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The key to your initial success is to find a implementation company that is a good fit and realize the additional modules even if Acumatica certified can be a hassle to get to work properly.
Acumatica is tricky at first, but very powerful.
What do you like best about the product?
Dashboards and Generic Inquiries are great display tools, allowing for very different views of the same data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding and customizing tables is very difficult, with many different screens required to link the back end to the front.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are tracking orders in order to make shipments. The Sales Order -> Shipments -> Invoices flow is very well structured.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be prepared for some heavily lifting with setup, but once the implementation is done, it works really well.

Acumatica looks sleek and is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Approval and notification functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica has helped us have more visibility into our processes and transactions. It is very easy to use and has tons of out-of-the-box features that we love. It's also very customizable and the general inquiry screens are amazing. The ability to set up new reports and general inquiry screens has been incredibly useful and so far we are extremely pleased with the system. We also really appreciate the help menu and how detailed each of the user guides are - it makes answering our own questions and understanding the system and processes that much easier. We are looking forward to a long, happy, relationship with Acumatica.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Acumatica is great. It's easy to use, makes sense, and has tons of flexibility. There are plenty of resources for you when implementing the system and using it on a daily basis. I would definitely recommend Acumatica to others in the construction industry.
Great ERP solution and highly customizable for our specific business needs.
What do you like best about the product?
As an ERP developer I like best the easy ability to develop customizations that fit our unique needs. Either directly and quickly through the user interface or through our extension project with C#. It is very easy to jump online and offer our employees assistance when and where it is needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The development experience can be slower than preferred if the dev environment is not in a dedicated dev environment. If a new developer has to just jump in and start developing there are a lot of pre req's that need to be met and that can often take a whole day or two. Another thing is that if an issue that is discovered requires a site's customization project to be re-published, that has to wait for off-hours because it restarts the whole site. Some of the issues that need to be fixed this way are usually small issues, but they can cause serious workflow issues and having to wait until off hours to fix them is a little annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved many issues specific to our business. Splitting inventory between our direct sales, whole sales, online sales and fba sales would be difficult if not impossible without Acumatica.

A bit of a learning curve but after that it's a breeze.
Great Financial Features
What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica is great for keeping track of our financials. The amount of costing methods is excellent, and the reports that our team can create are helpful. Since our team uses this for construction, project setup is reasonably easy for us. The customization of dashboards and GI tables gives us the ability to tailor the application to our team's needs. The operations team is able to navigate the desktop and mobile app with only a few hiccups. When the mobile app is working correctly, the ability to enter expenses on the go has been great. With the different approval settings available, getting expenses in the system is fast. This has helped our accounting team greatly, as they have been able to close out the monthly books quicker than they ever have before.
What do you dislike about the product?
The construction management side of the software is not perfect. There are a lot of areas that still need improvement. The field service tool is one of those areas. The field report section is not all there yet. The ease of entering information is not great. In a field service tool, team members need to be able to quickly enter information and reference their logs. Coming from Procore, this service is severely lacking. The mobile app can be clunky at times. We have had many issues with team members being unable to access certain areas of the application, as well as having issues with getting into the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved the problem of our ops team not having direct access to financials. Acumatica allows our team members to be involved in the financial aspects of a project. This is helping with accountability, as well as delivering projects at a better margin.

The level of detail you are able to drill down into.

The Financial Statement and Report Creator are not very user-friendly.

I use it for allocating resource. It also help me to monitor every transactions
Deployment is simple, very easy to use and great support!
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use, dont need technical background or knowledge to fully exploit its capabilities. I love Open University, I can train myself without paying a lot of consultant hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I didnt know it before, i have been strugling with other ERPs. You need a lot of training with other ERPs, which by the way are very expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has been a great experience. Our previous ERP was limited to the reporting we could do and the user interface was not very friendly. The menus in Acumatica are intuitive and the search feature is robust and allows for quick access to move between screens.

Ease of use, ability to get the data and make custom reports. import scenarios are easy to use yet powerful.

Support. it very hard to get support and it takes time. we have to be on the new version to get the support. there was a lot of customization done in order to meet the business requirement and now if we upgrade we have to redo the customization. if we don't update then we don't get any support
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have cut down the jobs because the system is very efficient. 8 people job is now performed by 2 people
A breath of fresh air
What do you like best about the product?
I have previously represented the Sage channel for over 25 years and was wowwed the very first moment I saw Acumatica. A great many things that I previously had to piece together from a jigsaw puzzle of third part vendors to complete the ERP solution, and which did or did not integrate to varying degrees, was out-of-the-box with Acumatica.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support is stubborn about getting on the phone to provide help despite requests for a call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The first demo I watched was for field service, something near and dear to my heart, and which I always felt was a compromise with Sage. Sure there was a very strong ISV that was 100% focused on the vertical, but it was still another product and development and therefore releases were not always available when customers were ready for or needed to upgrade. Acumatica eliminated those problems for me and I can be assured that the Acumatica service edition, certainly on par with the dedicated ISV solution would work with the core ERP and would not leave me scrambling and coordinating with vendors around the globe.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have not yet heard of Acumatica you owe it to yourself to become informed. The depth of functionality that is offered no matter what your industry is incredible from a main stream ERP player.
