Scalable Solution with Customizable Flexibility

What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica's capability for financial controls, project management, time entry, financial reporting, service management, and manufacturing, especially in the construction and services industry. Its scalability and flexibility to adapt as we grow are key benefits for us. I also really appreciate the ability to change major workflows, approvals, and reports with low-code/no-code. Acumatica's generic inquiry tool is amazing because it lets me build almost every report needed for our business, whether it's financial reporting, operational reporting, or tracking records through workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
The field services module is probably the weakest aspect that could use more work. There are improvements on the roadmap that definitely solve the issues that we are experiencing. The calendar board for dispatching, for example, has a lot of limitations on scheduling intuitively and lacks the ability to show it as a calendar for field technicians on their mobile phone. It does not sync with other apps like Microsoft Outlook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for financial controls and project management. It solves scalability and flexibility issues, adapting to our growth. I appreciate its low-code/no-code capabilities for changing workflows, approvals, and reports, and the generic inquiry tool for comprehensive reporting.

Efficient Inventory Management, User-Friendly Interface

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and usability of Acumatica. All transactions from various modules are easily linked through the workstream, which makes it efficient for managing inventory and costs, and connecting them back to AP and AR.
What do you dislike about the product?
The field service module seems as if it has some gaps for niche industry requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica to track and manage inventory and costs, integrating them back to AP and AR, and appreciate its ease of use and usability. Transactions link easily through the workstream.

Highly Customizable, but Challenging Support

What do you like best about the product?
I think Acumatica is easily customizable. Once I learned how to build GIs, I realized that the system could do most anything I want it to do. It's a one-stop solution for us, and while there is extensive out of the box functionality, I appreciate that I can customize it to see information natively gathered or perform tasks like finding inventory with multiple locations or generating a weekly shipping report.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find working with Acumatica Corporate to be difficult. We needed to switch VARs, and the process was painful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica aggregates our production and financial data, and serves as a one-stop solution for ERP and CRM needs, helping us manage inventory and generate reports. It's customizable to do almost anything we require.

Accurate Financials, But Challenging Implementations

What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica for its ease of use and the ability to double-check and correct entries. I appreciate being able to look things up in Account Details and easily move anything that shouldn't be there. Having more accurate and timely financials is something I value.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like having to use other integrations to get better reporting. The initial setup of Acumatica was awful because the implementation team wasn't listening to our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica makes my financials more accurate and timely, and it's easy to use. I can double-check and correct entries easily by looking things up in Account Details.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Acumatica user-friendly. It helps in processing invoices on time and preparing financials faster. I love Velexio.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the invoice recognition aspect lacking. The initial setup wasn't easy, as we didn't have a good implementation team. It eventually worked out, but it was rough at first.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Acumatica streamlines our business operations and creates many efficiencies within the accounting department and the distribution business. It provides a great deal of clarity into financial and operational information, and the user interface is stellar. I appreciate the ease of use, the flexibility of it being cloud-based, and the clarity of information I can get. The hyperlinks within the system make it easy to trace transactions. I genuinely like all aspects of Acumatica.

I would enhance the reporting functions.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the reports and access to the system in Acumatica. It's very user-friendly compared to our past system and makes it easy to access and see data within projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the service and contract portion can be the same. Also, I don't understand the benefits of having two separate spots for AR invoices. I understand the difference in numbering but not the location. Finding them and not knowing there are two spots, especially when you are working on an invoice and until it opens, you cannot go to the logical spot in AR.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Acumatica user-friendly, making it easy to access and see data within projects. It helps with project, service, and contract management in construction, although I face challenges with AR invoice organization.

Revolutionized Our Warehouse Management

What do you like best about the product?
I love the customizability of Acumatica and the fact that the sky's the limit with it. The benefits of hosting on a private cloud are great, especially as it allows us to have external apps trigger of Windows services and build customer-specific EDI solutions. I also find that direct SQL access makes reporting incredibly powerful. Acumatica has increased our visibility into our data tenfold and provides the tools to optimize our internal warehouse efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
User adoption has been difficult, and it would be nice if there was a simpler UI for specialized roles like sales. Salespeople in the field are easily overwhelmed by the amount of screens and data in Acumatica. The initial setup was hard to get the hang of at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has increased our visibility into data tenfold and provides tools to optimize warehouse efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica for its intuitive ease of use and appreciate the copy-paste features in AP and AR and GL transactions.
What do you dislike about the product?
PO receipts & PO returns which offset or relate are quite cumbersome takes 3-4 times longer to offset and clear than in other ERP's such as Epicor, SAP B1 or Syteline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for accounting, financial reporting, invoicing, warehousing, and production of finished goods.

What do you like best about the product?
I like having critical data in one platform with Acumatica. It's important for our company to have the project budgets and costs in one system that our project managers can access to help keep project budgets in line. We wanted to have an ERP that could encompass project information and serve as a one-stop shop for most data. With Acumatica, we can select more readily what type of information each user can access, making it really valuable for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find some reporting aspects clunky, especially the inability to pick any date range for financial reporting, not just by period. Additionally, some platforms like SmartSheets don't seem to integrate well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica consolidates project data and financials in one space, accessible for budget tracking. It's a one-stop shop for data, enhancing user-specific information access.
