Great Data Consolidation, But Mobile App Needs Work
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica because it acts as one system rather than multiple pieces of software, which provides one source for data. I use its GIs and dashboards, which I find valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the change management, scheduling, and mobile app lacking in Acumatica. The mobile app feels ugly, is slow, and not intuitive at all. Additionally, the initial setup was difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica to consolidate data into one system instead of multiple software pieces, providing one source for data.
Highly Customizable, Smooth Transition
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Acumatica's customizability, as it allows us to tailor the software to our processes without having to change our processes to fit the software. Its ease of use is another aspect I like, making it simple for us to work efficiently. The support provided is also a positive point. The initial setup was quite smooth compared to other implementations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the fixed asset module clunky, and the project progress quantity tracking could use improvements. Having the ability to track production quantities on a revenue budget through the progress worksheet would be a huge improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for intercompany accounting, project costing, and customizable reporting. It's customizable, so we can tailor the software to our processes. Plus, it's easy to use and has good support.
User-Friendly Cloud-Based ERP with Room for AI Enhancements
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Acumatica is user-friendly and cloud-based. Once you know how to use one module, it's consistent across all modules, which is great. I also appreciate how you can add columns for different data and export to Excel easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a lot of clicks to create reports and get information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for accounting to track construction projects' actual versus budget and to restore retail sales.
Versatile Accounting with Great Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica's physical inventory module, especially the ability to directly import inventory counts. The integration was a big factor in my team deciding to switch from QuickBooks to Acumatica.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the ability to track time on projects if the manufacturing module is not used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for customer payments and billing. The physical inventory module is beneficial for importing inventory counts directly, simplifying inventory management.
Reliable Data and Ease of Use, But Needs Better Email Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Acumatica for its ease of use once processes are fully developed, which helped our team to adopt it very quickly. I find the reliability and visibility of data, especially around stock levels and inventory analysis, incredibly trustworthy. Generic Inquiries, dashboards, and business events are features that have significantly streamlined our processes and ensured the right data reaches the right people across the team. I also liked that our initial setup was exciting and relatively easy, thanks to our internal team and the VAR working closely with us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the duplicate case management issue when using incoming emails to create new cases. We run into multiple instances daily of duplicate cases being created, and they have to be manually managed by our team through relations.

Acumatica provides reliable and visible data, especially with stock levels and inventory analysis.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica's modern interface and its adaptability. It allows access by the entire organization, keeping everyone on one platform which simplifies tasks and enhances our collaboration. Having access to information in real-time is also a big advantage for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
AI invoice processing. Several 3rd party vendors provide invoice recognition and 3 way matching but none of it is native in Acumatica.

Acumatica aids in financial and project reporting, keeping everyone on one platform. I like the modern interface, adaptability, and real-time access for the entire organization, which simplifies tasks and enhances collaboration.
Flexible UI and Customization, But Clunky Report Designer
What do you like best about the product?
I like the customization and the UI of Acumatica, as it is mostly flexible to my needs. The modern UI hopefully will help us move things around and assist those whose language isn't English.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the report designer clunky. It bothers me that you can't zoom into what you are working on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica helps me track revenue, costs, invoices, and customer information.

Steep Learning Curve, Needs Better Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like the interfaces and the ability to upload entries. I also appreciate the connectivity with Velixo.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to use Acumatica to its fullest potential in my organization. The system has cumbersome reporting, so we rely heavily on external financials for reporting. The out-of-the-box reports do not work, and we struggle to address our issues within the system. Existing reports do not run, so we have to use ARM to create our own, and my team is not very savvy beyond Excel. Modules need to be set up individually, which adds too much overhead. Customizations that could improve operations, like dashboards and GIs and AI, require a coding background that my team lacks. It's hard to find a setting toggle or key item, which makes it almost unusable. We spend too much time looking for answers externally. There's minimal support for optimizing the software, and our business branches were set up in a non-GAAP compliant way, which complicates things. The initial setup was poor and we have to deal with these mistakes every day.

Acumatica offers a record-keeping system for AP, AR, and journal entries.
Great for Visibility, But Customization Can Be Tricky
What do you like best about the product?
I think Acumatica is very easy to learn and develop the basics, and it has a high skill cap. I like how it improves visibility to journal entries within the company, making information visible for everyone. It makes it easy to show my leadership the ins and outs of the daily transactions and prepare for future pending transactions. I appreciate the features for finding account details and adjusting entries with debits and credits.
What do you dislike about the product?
I struggle with the involvement of generic inquiries and customization. I need more information to make it easier to develop.

I find Acumatica improves visibility to journal entries, making account details and transactions easy to find and adjust, which helps me show leadership daily transactions and prepare future ones.
