So many features

What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica has so many features for so many varying users. THe ability to track and monitor activity is amazing. Definitely improves productivity by not spending time on the little things that can now be completed within acumatica.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve, but there are a lot fo resources out there to help get you to par.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking projects.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is that it can be tailored to meet my company's needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I do not like about Acumatica is tha lack of a scheduler and time phase for our projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica helps us keep track of over 100 projects. It allows us to handle a lot of volume of information.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and navigation while offering enough features that support the majority of functionalities across many industries. The dedicated customer service teams from VARs are a nice touch from a relationship and synchronization standpoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacking some of the key last-mile functionalities for industry specific needs such as in construction and manufacturing for drawing/project management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining processes, standardizing reporting, increased operational tracking and output, and real-time data / metrics enabling quicker business decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica has been innovating for years and the last couple of years have really shown great improvement in the AI space as well as the transition to mor emodern programming languages,
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some markets Acumatica does not reach but hopefully will soon.

One centralized area for all things about the business

What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica's usability and navigation. It makes things easier to find and simpler to sort out for the end user, which is really helpful in addressing issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The speed, we're hosted on-prem which is significantly slower than the SaaS platform. I also do not like Vertex tax.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica to manage inventory, sales, and invoicing efficiently. It simplifies usability and navigation, making it easier to find and fix end-user issues, which enhances productivity.

Powerful flexibility.

What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility. Configuration. Customization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our team and company has needed to add multiple paid add-ons or customization to get the most out of the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is moving us to an integrated system with a centralized database. It allows us to get the reporting we need and not have to integrate our accounting software with our project management software.

Flexibility; Simple & clean layout; Ease of use; Velixo reporting
What do you dislike about the product?
Hoping they get the new Customer/Vendor balance transfer function functioning properly; Some of the default reporting options leave something to be desired.

Fills our needs as a standard accouning software solution.

Incredibly powerful software, support is lacking

What do you like best about the product?
This is lightyears ahead of Quickbooks in functionality. Having all AP/AR related transactions in one place is incredible. Now we are even intergarted with Acupay so can collect payments from clients much more effiently than in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fortis pay ease of implementation would be a 0. Then getting support on the Acumatica side is impossible, we paid a small fortune to our VAR partner for support but never got the solution we wanted. It would be great to have a support team from Acumatica that would not be $250/hr. There is so much to learn and not enough time to stop and watch tutorials.

Importing time cards is very challenging as well. Correcting time cards is also frustrating when jobs are closed or if you are only correcting one line but the entire time card is resubmitted so the client will see that on every project, unrelated to the correction, that the employee worked on in that time card.

Invoice templates are my biggest issue with Acumatica, it really isn't user friendly to change the format of invoices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Invoicing clients is full of checks and balances which is great. We can run over 100 projects at a time thanks to Acumatica.


    Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing

The amount of time to implement is excessive and at least double the initial 20% that was advised.

What do you like best about the product?
The capability of creating custom reports and tracking on the sub level.
What do you dislike about the product?
No room for error! Entries are not forgiving and is designed for professionals. This is not a product for a growing company that does not have certified accountant working internal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No benefits at this time. We hope to collect data on the sub-accounts that will help with managerial decision-making. Other problems we hoped to solve were not available as promised

Company switching to Acumatica

What do you like best about the product?
My company just switched over to acumatica from Sage. We like the in depth options we get, as well as the ability to costumize everything to out needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is definately a big learning curve with this and some things that don't translate but they provide excellent support and training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Work flow and accesiblilty are much greater
