Robust ERP with Complex Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Acumatica has good uptime and reliability. I also use and value the Generic Inquiries the most because they provide me with insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the cost model that relies on VARs to license the product and for customizations complicates the relationship with the software. The initial setup was also not easy, it was very complicated and took many months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica solves problems in finance, inventory, warehouse, buying, and many more areas.
Streamlined Operations with Flexible, Cloud-Based Acumatica
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica for its flexibility with making changes to how the system works and the fact that it is cloud-based. It helps in ensuring data is no longer siloed, so each department can view what they need when they need to without having to send more emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
Updating item classes for template/matrix items that may have sold already.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for distribution and light manufacturing, seeing improvements through efficiencies and automation. It solves data silos, letting each department access necessary information without extra emails.
User-Friendly with Solid Financial Controls
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use in Acumatica. I appreciate the ability to lock down a period, ensuring no changes are made in a closed period which can affect my financials. Additionally, it helps with speed and accuracy in operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the work order picking could be improved. We need to be able to scan parts to pick data from our work orders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica solves data information issues, aids in AP Bill pay and AR, locks down periods for financial accuracy, and enhances speed and accuracy.
Ideal for Multi-User Access, Setup Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use of Acumatica, as it simplifies the process for non-financial users while still providing the high-level accounting processes needed by the finance team. I also appreciate Acumatica's ability to allow multiple users to access financial and non-financial data without increasing fees.
What do you dislike about the product?
Time entry needs to be available offline and simplified for less tech-savvy individuals. The initial setup went poorly, and I'm still fixing areas of the program a year later. Also, auto launches are needed.

Acumatica allows multiple users to access data without additional fees, simplifies processes for non-financial users while maintaining high-level accounting functions for the finance team.
Powerful Features, Steep Setup for Acumatica
What do you like best about the product?
I like the intercompany component in Acumatica. It allows me to bill one company, pay from another, and make an intercompany IOU. This functionality is particularly valuable for our construction company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I need to move away from manual entry. Importing bills and account payable, as well as timekeeping for payroll, could be improved. The initial setup was very hard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica to input bills, pay invoices, process payroll, and some reporting. It effectively cost codes payroll and supports intercompany transactions, allowing me to bill one company, pay from another, and manage interco IOUs.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the approval map feature in Acumatica because it allows us to approve requisitions by level or amount, which is really helpful for us. Additionally, I found the initial setup of Acumatica to be very easy.

It's hard to capture all the project tasks.

I like Acumatica because it's friendly to users. The dashboard is also something I enjoy, as it provides key indicators that are essential for piloting strategy.

I don't like the yearly upgrade process because it's always delayed.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how our transition to Acumatica has been going smoothly with the help of an amazing vendor partner. They've made the process easy and collaborative, respecting our input and addressing the pains of our old ERP. I’ve noticed that tasks that usually take 30-40 minutes are now done in just minutes, benefiting the accounting, product, and sales teams directly. The setup was super easy thanks to our dedicated vendor partner who’s deeply connected with our teams. Their support remains strong even after implementation, for which I’m grateful. Overall, we are more efficient and can now trust the data in the system.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for real-time data access, improving efficiency and data trust. It also addressed our lack of visibility from the previous system, Sage500, which we outgrew.
Revolutionized Our Warehouse with Real-Time Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can use handheld devices in the warehouse with Acumatica. It lets us take and upload photos of the packing slips and material directly to the transactions in real time. This saves me from having to scan, rename, and file each packing slip at the end of the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there is still so much for me to learn with Acumatica. Our biggest hardship in the warehouse is the time it takes to process materials (transactions). It takes several minutes to get items received and onto the production floor. I'm sure this can become more efficient when I learn more on automation. The implementation took a long time, about 1.5 years, and wasn't easy, as it took me away from many of my daily responsibilities as a Warehouse Manager. I think we still needed more time prior to implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica enhances inventory visibility and uncovers issues with staff behavior. It allows us to upload packing slips in real-time, eliminating manual scanning and filing. However, it can be time-consuming to process materials, but I'm hopeful that learning more about automation will help.
Ease of Use, But Improvement Needed for Payment Exports
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica because it puts everything all in one place, making management more streamlined. I appreciate its ease of use, which makes it easy to train new users and find the right reports quickly. The setup was easy too, as I've been told.

I don't like the NACHA file export for customer payments.
