What do you like best about the product?
in my 25 years of consulting service, I have not been more impressed with an ERP company. From the pioneers down to the product and support, Acumatica is relevant to business and excellent in providing solutions my clients need.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some solution aspects which are still developing such as the Customer Portal and CRM. However, for many clients we are able to find ways to extend these areas to afford value and then because Acumatica has the ability to integrate with
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting folks on the same system. Connecting business processes that are typically manual, dis-jointed. Doing the unimaginable. Eliminating excuses of not having actionable data and insights - because it's all there.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider having at least 1 power user who can work with databases, report-writing, etc. You can create concepts and then invite your partner to help you extend the program.

What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility of solution. Constant development. Add-on capabilities with other software.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is taking quite some time for us to get to go-live.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Upgrading from a legacy ERP. Trying to streamline our processes, have better data visibility, and ability to leverage new technologies.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a good alternative when upgrading from Quickbooks. IT is a much needed upgrade from QB. The platform is neat and concise.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting package is cumbersome. The credit card integration is better in QB. Setting up the chart of accounts was difficult and time consuming. The Avalara tax integration is hard to setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
one problem solved is having an ERP networked and available on the web and mobile devices. We now have the capability to have financials real-time and let other departments, like A/R, A/P view customer and vendor details.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pick a gold partner to implement and ask a lot of questions. The partner does know your needs unless you tell them. Once you have told them, tell them again.

What do you like best about the product?
Completely cloud based ERP solution is a big improvement over our prior in-house server solution. System is very easy to use, which makes training a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Increasingly, our wholesale customers are asking for a slick, Amazon-like user experience where they can go online to place their own orders, track their shipments and see their order history online. The current CRM solution doesn't meet this need - its too cumbersome and not slick enough. We would like to see Acumatica address this -- either natively within the Acumatica software itself, or through a connector to some other cost-effective and easy to manage and launch B2B/online solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to eliminate the need for some of the 3rd party connections/solutions that we needed with our previous ERP (Sage); the built in Acumatica solutions work. This has simplified our in-house IT needs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give Acumatica a hard look. It is a good and reasonable solution for small and mid-size companies.

Development in an integrated ERP

What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica provides an integrated environment built on a robust open development platform. The company invests ~75% of their revenue to continual development of the ERP product and to keeping their development platform current. Virtually all of the screens, forms, and code are fully accessible to the developer and they provide excellent support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes their documentation of the entities and their relationships is lacking but support does help answer questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ACM solution provides business support from end-to-end. Customer places order, items are purchased or manufactured if necessary, items are pulled from inventory and shipped or delivered. All of this is accomplished with full integration to the accounting backend. The problems we get to solve are the integration of Acumatica with outside systems, modifying screens, functionality, or the mobile application to meet the individual customer rerquirements.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Excellent platform for business use. 100% cloud based. If you are a consultant it is a great product and Acumatica only sells through resellers/consultants.

What do you like best about the product?
Workflows are built-in. Data entry is made efficient with easy uploading. Connectivity to an entire ecosystem is built-in.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. OK, maybe have a default sort order by vendor name instead of vendor number.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complete elimination of IT infrastructure because it's a true cloud product.

What do you like best about the product?
Entering bills with the scanning feature for AP
What do you dislike about the product?
Limits in the construction module functionality in regards to the aspects in which construction companies operate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Supporting Manufacturing, Construction, Engineering, Accounting, Marketing, and Sales/Estimating departments under one cloud-based umbrella which is something that is not available in many other systems.

What do you like best about the product?
Twice a year Acumatica releases new features and improvements. Sometimes I think Acumatica should work a certain way, or one step should be made easier, then just a few months later it is.
What do you dislike about the product?
In some processes, there are too many steps. Also, there is definitely a learning curve with building reports. I don't find this as intuitive as it is in many other systems I've used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are bringing orders, inventory, and accounting in one system. No more fixing sync issues between systems or manual entry.
