Super Customizable ERP
What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica's ERP is built on top of an awesome framework that allows you to customize just about everything that you could possibly want. Most solutions always require some sort of tweaking and customization to support business processes. In quite a number of cases with other ERPs this tends to create odd ball workarounds that either half work or are confusing. Acumatica ERP was built from the ground up to be customized and engineered to flexible at every level.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one dislike that I have is being addressed on the product roadmap, which is migration over to .Net Core which will open up a whole host of options for development, testing, and production hosting. Now that the .Net platform is growing up and evolving into the .Net 5 world of cross platform support, it's great to see the Acumatica taking notice and staying true to the future proof mantra.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it touch just about every touch point in our business. If you need to change something that is key to your business, Acumatica makes it possible. We work better, deal with changes faster, and manage things easier due to the flexibility that Acumatica provides.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Picking an ERP is a BIG deal and your decision is going to be with you for a while. Experience has taught me no two people or two companies fit into the same mold when it comes to their data/ERP needs. Besides looking at a feature list and checking off things one by one, consider what features are not there. Ask yourself what if your process changes, workflows that may need to be changed, or what would happen if all of a sudden I need to customize something. Make sure you pick a platform that can change and grow with you. Acumatica knocks it out of the park.

Launch of 2020-R2 - New Workflow Designer Functions
What do you like best about the product?
The demo was very impressive and the new features are something that will really improve the way we use the software. I feel that the new workflow functionality is a much needed improvement. The new visual designer will make it much easier for employees and/or customers to design the right flow that fits their specific business process. As human beings, most of us are visual people. Having the visual interface will improve the accuracy and speed in building these process flows. Couple that with the ability to enable and disable fields dynamically, makes the tool even more powerful for the business with ever changing needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have any dislikes. I would just say that proper planning is a must to implement an application of this magnitude.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica is giving us the ability to create a very dynamic business application with an extensive set of tools that act as the baseline for building our products. As an OEM that is absolutely necessary for us to be successful. We have no need to plug-in a bunch of random third party tools to fill a void in the system. However, when we do need a specific 3rd party integration, we are able to make that happen without compromising the integrity of the solution.

Search capabilities and reporting capabilities. I'm still learning a lot.

Sometimes seem like I gotta be a computer whiz to do what I need to do.

Move off the canned non-cloud programs and work with a flexible cloud based product like Acumatica.
Great Cloud ERP
What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica is always at the forefront with adding new functionalities and improvements on a regular basis. They listen to their customers' needs and meets them and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The twice yearly releases makes it hard to keep up with upgrading our version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to centralize all functions into one application.

What do you like best about the product?
Web based and easy to navigate throughout the ERP system.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have a custom commission work flow and it is very clunky to use. Wish it was more efficient and seemless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating more work flows which helps us stay on task and be more efficient. More overall efficiencies for sure.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Excellent choice for an ERP system...highly functional.
Acumatica is very user intuitive and straightforward when navigating through the screens!
What do you like best about the product?
The report designer and generic inquiry builder are super straightforward and easy to use. It allows me to build comprehensive screens so clients are able to see the data they need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe the report designer could use an overhaul for the UI since it seems a bit dated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that I am solving with Acumatica is allowing customers to automate steps such as emailing reports at the end of the day or notifying them if certain events happen on the system that requires their attention. We have done this using business events.
Acumatica Construction Edition
What do you like best about the product?
Searching tools, up to the minute cost reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Critical functionality specific to the Construction application needs to be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inclusion of all relevant stakeholders into the Project process. Easier access to information.
Acumatica Cloud ERP
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use an configurability. The ability to be able to shape the software to specific business rules and processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Out of the box reporting. A few missing features in the sales order/distribution area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Assisting clients with accounting, distribution, manufacturing, professional services and field services business problems using Acumatica.
Acumatica Customer
What do you like best about the product?
For our company the best part of Acumatica is endless way of the customization. Using many of out of the box functionality we've created add on product to fit our business. With Acumatica we have replaced two systems, and currently working on few more. New Workflow feature would allows us to do customizations in much simple and efficient way. We also were able integrated with Power BI for better reporting, and use Velixo for financials reporting.
Also, what Acumatica team does for each release is amazing - we are users from version 6, and our current is 2020R1.

What do you dislike about the product?
Better out of the box reporting would be great. But we see it up coming with improving generic inquiries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We replaced our homegrown 30 years old application and right now our company is blest with the decision moving to Acumatica - all company works remotely from homes and business is growing!
