Acumatica User
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is a cloud-based system and that it is designed for both manufacturing and construction.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the VARs aren't always as well versed in the system as some VARs in some other systems that I have experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overcoming the shortcomings of our present ERP (we are only in the implementation process).

Acumatica Strengths & Weaknesses
What do you like best about the product?
Handles large volumes of transactions well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Views do not show enough information.
No view with all prices and costs of inventory items

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contracts and deferred revenue have been very useful.
I am a new user that recently went thru implementation
What do you like best about the product?
I like how user friendly Acumatica is and how it is cloud based and can be accessed from anywhere versus needing a VPN to log in, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I have found so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Acumatica, we did not have any inventory control and that has been the biggest benefit to our team.
Connecting multiple international subsidiaries
What do you like best about the product?
After reviewing multiple ERP options, we chose Acumatica for the relative ease of implementation that allowed us to walk before we run. Another advantage we saw was the ability to expand our use of the system as we grow as a company. We found Acumatica ERP system to be very user friendly with an excellent Help system. We were able to learn how to do a lot of task on our own by using Help files.
What do you dislike about the product?
We found Report Designer to be the least user friendly function compared to all others. We were able to do what we needed but it was not as intuitive as with most other tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to using Acumatica, all our entities were using different accounting systems and consolidating them required emailing Excel reports, adding them up manually and took a long time. By implementing Acumatica for all our subsidiaries, we shortened our month-end close from 2 weeks to 5 days and avoid errors.
Acumatica after 3 years
What do you like best about the product?
License model, unlimited users, flexible, open API
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I have found so far that I dislike about Acumatica.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single stack solution with connected partners if required. Custom design within software.
Overall very positive experience, but definite challengers related to our e-commerce business
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best features for acumatica for us is the ability to access data easily and quickly The Generic Inquiries and OData make it possible to run our reports quickly and let our managers spend time on the business and not on the reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The built in functionality for shipping and distribution does not suit our high transaction style of e-commerce business. We have had to heavily customize the system in order to be able to operate efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned above, data and reporting is something we have seen tremendous gains in. The number of hours spent mining data has been cut down astronomically.
I've found Acumatica to be a simple to use and scalable tool to meet our business needs

Lack of workflow features (maybe just lack of knowledge from my VAR?)

What do you like best about the product?
We moved from 4 separate systems to 1 (Acumatica) and it has made things a lot simpler for us. It has simplified a lot of processes. It has streamlined our operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The expense reporting is getting updated in 2020 and I am really looking forward to that, so I can attach receipts to the current expense reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's integrated a lot of our processes with opportunities and projects into our financials as well. It is all real-time, so you don't have to wait for anything to update.
Acumatica is at the top of it's class
What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica is an incredible easy to use, robust ERP which makes every aspect of our business run more efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of a thing I don't like!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working with Acumatica and our reseller, we were able to roll out a customization for paying external commissions. Having this in place saves the users valuable time that had been used tracking everything manually with spreadsheets.
