Acumatica is great however we have experienced many glitches.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use. Navigation and searchability is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have ran into many glitches using 2020R2, and the only solution offered is to upgrade to 2021R2

Creating business events that utilize Import scenarios have been very beneficial.
Acumatica is a customizable, robust tool
What do you like best about the product?
The customization of Acumatica allows our business to fit the tool to our needs, instead of our needs to the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some processes take a long time to complete, number of clicks to move through a workflow can be a hindrance as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidation of business technology tools. Removing siloed databases.

I like the built in features and the fact we can customize things for our view

Some functions cannot be customized. Also some items you need deep trainign to understand

The overall speed. The ease of use. The CRM is very usable

Have it look more intuitive, like using a Microsft product.

We are solving not having two ERP Systems. A lot cheaper than running two systems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that you can do all your processes right down to the smallest jobs.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the versatility of the program. Acumatica seems to help every corner of your business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I "dislike". Considering how robust the software is, it does have a good level of complexity to it. It may be a little intimidating to new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Acumatica to fill the role of several software platforms we were using before. We've replaced Avionte, Avpro, and a couple of other programs we used to use, all with Acumatica now. We still have old inventory management software I would love to see replaced by Acumatica.
Exactly What We Needed
What do you like best about the product?
Coming from Quickbooks everything was new, and everything was better. I appreciate the granular security settings. I like the ability to access the system from my phone. Setting up branches is a great feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our first VAR was not a good fit and, in many ways, did more harm than good. Acumatica eventually helped us find a new VAR that has been fantastic, but I wish there had been more oversight from Acumatica from the beginning. A monthly email during the first 6 months asking us about our experience may have uncovered the issues sooner and saved us from a lot of added stress and expense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We reduced the number of manual entries required and streamlined processes in sales, accounting, and inventory management. Our accounting department has been transformed and offers much better visibility.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend a lot of time screening your VAR to ensure they have experience with your industry. Be sure your PM is available full-time for the implementation.
Acumatica has been an incredible addition to our company.
What do you like best about the product?
The transition to a could based system means that my team can access Acumatica from anywhere in the world which has been extremely useful. The core system does a lot, but the extensive list of integrations means we can cater to our needs and find solutions that fit every scenario. We are very satisfied with our transition from Quickbooks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding the right VAR was a challenge for us. We eventually landed with one that is the perfect fit and we could not be happier, but without a good VAR we were completely lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica has replaced manual data entry with automation in many aspects of our company and provided us with the opportunity to spend more time growing the business as opposed to using all of our manpower to run the business.
ERP Pro - New to Acumatica
What do you like best about the product?
I am very impressed with the ability to easily customize almost anything in the program.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am fairly new to Acumatica and I took the online university courses so I could learn its unique characteristics. I wouldn't recommend the online university because the documentation doesn't match the version used for the tutorial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far, the company that hired me is only using Acumatica to reformat their stock items so that they can be published to Magento in ecommerce. I was hired to assist with the implementation of the remaining modules.

What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica makes it simple to create an easily legible financial statement.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be touchy at times. For example: when making a bank deposit, it can error out if another AR entry is made, which happens quite often.

We are solving some confusing accounting practices and making them better and easier to understand. There have been a lot of mistakes in accounting in the past in our company but Acumatica has made it easy to follow.
