Great Cloud Based ERP

What do you like best about the product?
The cloud interface is really good. I haven't worked with a ton of ERPs, but by comparison, Acumatica's cloud functionality is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating to the right screen can be a bit of work and performing some transactions seem to take a little more effort and time than I'd prefer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Acumatica as our system of record and process all inventory and orders through it. Acumatica has provided way more visibility into our business to make key decisions than our previous system did.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Like any ERP, Acumatica has it's pros and cons. I recommend making sure that the way Acumatica works will mesh with your business or be willing to make changes to your business to work with Acumatica. From my experience when you make a choice of ERP, use the ERP the way it was made - it'll save you a lot of headaches.

What do you like best about the product?
It's user friendly and has been much easier to submit expenses. We recently transitioned and I was super afraid of the change but love it now!
What do you dislike about the product?
We had some issues getting it to read all of our prior expense entries and old things but we have mostly worked through that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finance system. Things can be much easier!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have a good plan for prior data but moving forward for new things it's amazing!

Solid financial system to support rapidly growing companies

What do you like best about the product?
The system is well laid out, very intuitive in its approach, and has a wealth of features that make using it a joy for my staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
The financial reporting setup is very labor intensive to setup and not user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has dramatically improved the daily flow of a high transaction environment while providing transparency to all levels of our organization that they have not had before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Remember that Acumatica is still a developing product, so the features that it has are generally very solid, but there are certainly some gaps.

What do you like best about the product?
The system can be customized to whatever is needed. Customization can come from third-parties, in-house, or through Acumatica's development team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Acumatica is still new, so finding an experienced consultant for deploying Acumatica may be difficult (depending on location).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking products from start to end, cloud deployment allows inter branch connection, and pushes for more standardized processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have your processes well established and consult a Acumatica Rep to review and offer suggestions.

Worst Software decision ever

What do you like best about the product?
not really anything at this point it is very slow and does not work as promised
What do you dislike about the product?
the software was over sold, it underperformed and never ever did what they promised it would. An old version was installed on our server and when i asked to be upgraded to the most current version I was told i had to wait then they wanted to charge me to install what i should have had in the beginning, not that it matters none of it really works anyway
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
its has done nothing but slow us down and hurt us

What do you like best about the product?
Good financial reporting tools, and operational capatility. The ERP has a very easy to use interface and as it is on the cloud you can access anywhere.
I also Like that you can configure your organizational tree (easy to use) The authorizations run very effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
CRM integration / Price list management. I would like to have more options to stablish different pricing Methods. Like: Stablishing a Price list for a specific Customer or Kind of Customer.
I expected much more of the "Regionalization". Mexican law requires special functionalities and it accomplish them, just ok. But it lacks of reports and controls that are needed to confirm that we are doing ok.

Id like a more powerful / cash flow report. It gives information just of the next 30 days. It should give information (Weekly or monthly) For the next 12 months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The mayn reason to change our ERP to ACUMATICA is to improve our control and operations in Purchase planning & control, account payable authorizations. But we have improved also the financial controls, reporting, and auditing, thanks to the reporting engine that works really well.
We are also taking good advantage of the inventory module.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a Powerful ERP, but it has its own limitations, to know those limitations is important so you can make a good choice.

Intuitive software with customized feel

What do you like best about the product?
Excellent, intuitive software perfect for small to midsize businesses. This product is easily adaptable for a customized feel.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with our Point of Sale was frustrating mainly because of the POS design.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Acumatica has a unique licensing structure. I also like that Acumatica is web-based. I also like the flexibility in the security roles that Acumatica gives IT.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish older versions had some of the modern dashboards built into it. In addition I their is room for improvements where its competitor has already established some of these additional features and functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility and inventory control as well as real-time reporting.
