A software company that listens to its users
What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica has an incredibly powerful off the shelf suite of features that can be implemented with minimal customization but working with an Acumatica parter you can truly personlize the software to meet your business needs. Most importantly Acumatica listens to customer feedback and truly wants to ensure that you achieve the best user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any ERP system Acumatica is an investment, and being that they are quickly growing and releasing new features having too many customizations can lead to an arduos version upgrade process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica brings the project management function and accounting function together in a way that provides greater visability, planning opportunities and project performance management data then haveing multiple systems in place.

Not user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing. Too complex to train accounting staff on. Expensive to try to get support. User-created reports are difficult. Does not meet standard accounting processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not user friendly, difficult to understand process flow, help screens that were probably written by a professor in quantum physics, standard accounting functions are convoluted and not typical of accounting software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More like what problems is it creating. New staff members struggle to learn how to use it and full functionality is never attained.

I like how Acumatica offers a full suite of accounting functions and reporting capability making financial management process easy and fast.It's simple to process and track payments with Acumatica.Again,this tool integrates seamlessly with tools and systems that we use in our institution.It's now possible to make better financial decisions with Acumatica.It's simple and fast to close accounting books with this tool.It is simple to manage expenses with this tool.

There are moments when I find it difficult to customize financial reports with Acumatica.

It's simple to manage money flowing in and out of our institution with Acumatica.It automates Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.It automates workflows and financial operations thus increasing productivity.It also increases our business profitability.

One of my concern with Acumatica is that it lacks a mobile app.Again Acumatica is expensive.

With Acumatica no expenses and income is not accounted for.

Excellent ERP solution to address and scale the needs of an organization
What do you like best about the product?
It is one of the best ERP software; it gives us a comprehensive and integrated experience when managing finances, operations and connecting with customers. It is a cloud-based solution, which means a really quick and easy implementation. Acumatica has allowed us to enjoy streamlined processes, experience a great increase in efficiency and improve data management. It is impressive how we can automate business event processes, different import scenarios and our workflow using Acumatica.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although over time it has been improving and implementing new capabilities to be an all-in-one tool, these are still somewhat limited and the need arises to look for certain add-ons or functions in other options, which ultimately generates a higher expense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been determinant in all management within the organization; it has helped us improve our daily work, the connection with our customers and even save a valuable amount of time thanks to the automation of various processes, transactions and import scenarios. Best of all, we have not required extensive technical knowledge to get into the software, make adjustments and make the best use of it for the benefit of the organization and its constant growth.

Ability to check on inventory levels in real time. Ability to check on part numbers and descriptions for parts and assemblies

I don't understand the revision control system

Status of inventory as well as product structure

It is very easy to use . All tabs are labeled with easy to identify choices. Hard yo make a mistake.

The university classes are generic and I'd like customized how to videos for my company.

What do you like best about the product?
new techonology, new platform, robust, cost effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
simple features that we take for granted with other ERP, missing in Acumatica, these have to be purchased via third party developers, hight cost and always gliches. e.g very weak commissions module.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
old legacy systems were operating in silos, information has to be keyed one into Acumatica, viewed from different angles. we now also have one source of information.
I've worked with a lot of ERP, once I found Acumatica, not going back to any otehr.

Intuitive, easy to configure, ease of going live, ease to going live
What do you dislike about the product?
SOme module are just clucky and should not be marketing like Fixed Asset and Service - Have yet to see one great implementation of these module.

Easy to go live, and ease of use especially for folks that are transitioning from Quickbook
