Remarkably complete backup and monitoring solution
What do you like best about the product?
MSP360, formerly Cloudberry Labs, has been our backup partner for several years now and has been both reliable and helpful. Their technical support team has been very responsive whenever we've needed them. I also love the at-a-glance remote management page that will tell me which machines are out of compliance for their backup schedules.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their support for Linux environments is there, but minimal. It's improved over time, though, and they are responsive to feature requests. The Windows client can be a little confusing, so perhaps some more attention to the UX there would be helpful... but these are minor problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MSP360 Managed Backup solves the problem of identifying which machines in our environment are in or out of compliance with backups. It provides us a robust off-site, cloud-based backup solution which we have found to be reliable when it comes to restoring data. The added flexibility of restoring to different hardware or to a virtual disk has proven very useful to us.

Strong software, initial experience was good, but support has been very spotty
What do you like best about the product?
The software itself is pretty well designed, easy to deploy and manage. Have performed a number of Bare Metal Restores and restores to Virtual Machines and generally they work well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside to MSP360 is the erratic nature of their support. I find myself always hoping I'll get a particular Tier 1 Tech (Evan) because he's very good, but the others are hit or miss. And if you get elevated to Tier 2 or 3, be prepared to go days without responses even on "Priority 1" issues. It's a shame because we've had a number of excellent support experiences with MSP360 but they've really dropped the ball lately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's good backup software at a fair price. Being able to leverage Wasabi is a big draw. Again, the issue is the uncertainty of whether support will be there when you need them and uncertainty is the last thing you want in a backup vendor.
MSP360 Great Backup for Physical Servers
What do you like best about the product?
It works with physical servers and backs up locally as well as offsite to our Wasabi Cloud Storage.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not the most intuitive program. We prefer Altaro but Altaro charges more for physical server backup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides local and offsite backup for physical servers.
Msp360 is good but could benefit from simplicity
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to bring in your preferred s2 provider. This can lead to cost savings and make things easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI online and management is somewhat cumbersome to learn at first. Or how to use policies. Or multi tenancy. It could just benefit from simplicity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy solution to quickly backup PC in a few steps.
MSP360 works well with SMB
What do you like best about the product?
MSP360 is solid software and continues to have new features and security regularly updated. Because it is the software used to manage the backup without getting locked into using any particular type of cloud storage the flexibility for choosing your preferred cloud is key.
What do you dislike about the product?
MSP360 has so many features it is sometimes a little difficult to find where the particular menu item is to be found. Some are accessed via an ellipse where others are undfer a normal text menu item.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MSP360 makes managing automated incremental backups a simple point and shoot solution. Once configured for the cloud storage of your choice settings are locked in to keep multiple versions of the incremental backup and/or create a weekly or monthly full backup if required. The setup also allows triggers to move from one step to the next so that if a step fails then the backup stops there and a notification is sent. Makes my MSP life much easier.
Amazing and Easy to Use Backup Software
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using MSP products for about 5 years and have switched over to Online Backup about 3 years ago. So software is wonderfull. It's simpel to use yet combines all the features we need as an MSP to run backup solutions for our clients. Some of the best features are easy deployment, and backup monitoring. The admin dashboard is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nohing that I think of that I dislike about the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For us as an MSP is to be able to provide a backup service for our clients that is not to overly complicated and can be easily deployed, moinitored and restored. MSP360 is perfect for this. From restoring full server images to single files the software just works. The support is quite good as well and the team is always responsive when issues arise.
MSP 360 offers cloud-based security for our files
What do you like best about the product?
Its mix with different providers such as for example AWS, Azure and local network equipment. The deck additionally is where we can observe the work of every one of the termination points, servers, and so forth and in case the backup is found or not. There was a lot of infrastructure inside and we felt like taking a complement for different objects. This involved in infrastructure works in the form of AWS, Azure and additionally on-premises. With Msp360, we were able to amalgamate all three environments with a single instrument and table. This dashboard gives higher-level information about various different endpoints, in the event the backup is or isn't performed, in addition to the kind of information. The procedure for making policies within MSP360 is straightforward and was quite helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
They don't have a headquarters in India, so in-person conversation is not possible in order to be able to understand each other better. Due to its mix with different sources of information, it may be costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The experience is really comfortable at the moment thinking about its mix with different providers/universe. We were able to mix it with Azure service, AWS service and our in-house facilities, through a combined picture we can see the whole infrastructure and things that work and things that don't work.
