Easy to understand GUI and naming convention for the devices

The management software of the devices has to be downloaded, and each device added individually.

I can connect each of my sites to make one WAN.
Watchguard - Great security tool
What do you like best about the product?
Something I really like about the watchguard is the ease of management and settings, a centralized and intuitive console, makes managing a firewall easier by I.T team of company, and it's is the great differential.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something that makes the product a little complicated is that it has a slightly high cost compared to other competitors, even though it has much more developed features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using the watchguard, I was able to solve problems such as controlling users' web access, specifically releasing access, and restricting it against so many threats that we have on the web today.

I wouldn't say I dislike Heavy UPS Batteries.

I like solving updates and firmware, updates, and using the cloud.

1. Initial setup is easy compared with other firewalls.
2. Most of the necessary firewall rules are pre-configured; no need to configure firewall policies.

1. No possibility to take SSH console access to the WatchGuard box.
2. Policy configuration is a little bit tough.
3. Sometimes login dashboard does not respond appro.

WatchGuard's firewalls have been our go-to network security appliance for years.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their knowledgebase articles sometimes can be a bit lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unified threat management, VPN tunnels, encryption, web blocking, to name a few.

Use the Watchguard Access Points along with their firewalls for easy setup and support.
Easy, Simple and Secure
What do you like best about the product?
In all the Network Security products I've tested and used, this is the only product (so far) that you can easily setup and configure without deplying yet in production environment. It also gives good performance and faster throughput even all security engines are turned on. Best of all, in comes with reporting and visibility using dimension without incurring any cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
Subscription renewal is a bit expensive compared to other products. There's no highly skilled support engineer (as far as I know) in my local area that could easily address our concerns.
Replacing/returning of product within its warranty period would take some time. Watchguard should look into this aspect and address to improve its process.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives us peace of mind and not so much to worry about with all the threats out there. Watchguard gives us the network security protections we need and solidifying it with endpoint protection.

SImple to manage, complete services and interfaces. many different appliance available for every king ow workload.

no web interfaces available for the cluster setup. not fully clear load reporting and monitoring.

We have standardized all our firewall devices in all our network locations. On product fit all architecture. Simplified and centalized management.

Easy to use gui and simple policies compared to other firewall solutions.

Cannot easily change some firewall rules without starting from a new rule.

1st line defence firewall, AV scanning, monitoring and logging, solid vpn connection for our remote workers.
