Effective Protection at a good price
What do you like best about the product?
Simple setup once license is activated, base settings provide good protection, IPS works great out of the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could have a better info dashboard on the device itself, similar to the online WatchGuard management that gives a good overview of how it is performing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Base protection against known suspect IP's and general threat protection in a simple license.

I see that the reporting tools are not enough detailed! must act as dhcp server to get the names of Pc and users on their reports

drag and drop vpn, use of vpn with ssl for client working from home

The value for money is an essential component, together with the dedicated technical support that makes the product easy to use and set up.

The reporting is cumbersome and provides a lot of raw data that is not really useable for executive reports or application layer reporting.
There is an Executive Summary report that you can run, but it doesnt really translate into a business case without a supplemental explanation.

Some security features so we can call it a firewall, but not a UTM/NGFW.
Very stable, never crash.Http proxy configuration is nice because of lots of parameters you can play with like magic byte.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
This security solution appeals to me since it has a system management panel that allows users to change and maintain rules in a single location and distribute them to several locations as required. The traffic monitoring and full panel dashboard are the most useful and outstanding features.
Most of the setting options are much easier to understand than with some of the other options we've tried.

nothing for now. we dont have any problem

firewall solution is quite good and help us to create easy and quick the configuration with web os or desktop app

we wait to check the new integration with panda antivirus console

All security, have ips, app control , all license are ngfw , the license from Dnswatch are simply and solved multiple problems with users

watchguard firewall are easy to configure migrate or install not problem with other firewall migrate one cluster are very dificult and only are possible from cli command
