Stable platform with a simple initial setup process

What is most valuable?
The platform solves and prevents delays in receiving answers from databases. We can view several factors and compare queries. We can monitor potential problems for delays from hardware resources as well. We can investigate and tell where the problem is or where the problem could be in the future.
What needs improvement?
There is room for improvement with the pricing of the platform. It could be cheaper.

I have been working as a partner with SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer for five months.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The stability of this platform is a ten out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Scalability-wise, the platform is perfect.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is simple and agentless. It is deployed on-premises in our organization. As it is connected to the databases, we only need to let it work for two weeks or even a little more so it can understand the wait times, and later monitor the changes.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I rate the platform’s pricing a seven out of ten. It could be less expensive.
What other advice do I have?
If you buy the hybrid cloud severability license, you get several modules like network performance, the network traffic analyzer, etc. Additionally, DPA integrates very well with server and application monitoring solutions. There is a product called SAM, which is about monitoring the servers. You can have good integration between those two solutions.

Easy to adopt and migrate

In SolarWinds database mapper is easy to learn and secure platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
SolarWinds Database Mapper's GUI interface is little bit slow compare than other softwares.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working in large infrastructure project and need to manage 1200+ servers. So it is very easy to maintain DB of these servers as well as monitoring of those servers.
A stable solution that helps monitor databases and generate reports

I use the solution to monitor database and manual activity and to generate reports. It is also a monitoring tool that we use for a little bit of monitoring.

SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer's most valuable features include the notification of consuming the SQL queries, collecting data, and notifying about managing space and tables. The solution also gives some information or details regarding decision taking.

I used SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer as a customer one or two weeks ago.

I advise users to continue with SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer because it is a nice tool to help implement your IT tools. I am a DBA person, and the solution can help us in special monitoring in DBA.

I was not aware about memory status and other health parameters in my database but after SolarWinds Database Mapper I get clear visibility and reporting about database.
Easy to understand and deploy
What do you like best about the product?
Personally love the Documentation and Dictionary search feature. Allows you to quickly search your database in an intuitive way.
What do you dislike about the product?
DB visualization is not as good as I'd like it to be. There is some room for improvement there.

It allows us to automatically generate documentation from multiple data sources which is very convenient and effective for us.
Good ETL Database Mapper
What do you like best about the product?
SolarWinds Database Mapper is good tool for mapping up the fieldsets of database which is easy to configure and maintain. The user-interface is aslo better in terms of usability.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user community is not large as of now due to which the support for any issue is difficult to track and fix. Also the tool shoould be updated for bugs and lags.

The business problem which we are solving with SolarWinds Database Mapper is to map the database fieldsets to it hierarchy which helps our user to perform operation faster.
