What is our primary use case?

My main use case for OneLogin is centralized identity and access management, primarily for enabling single sign-on and MFA across cloud applications like Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and internal business tools.

For single sign-on or MFA in my daily workflow, we use OneLogin to give employees one secure login for applications such as Microsoft 365 and Salesforce. MFA automatically triggers when users sign in from unmanaged devices or new locations, which has made access management much simpler for the IT team.

What is most valuable?

The best features OneLogin offers include easy management of SSO, adaptive MFA, Smart Factor Authentication, automated user provisioning, de-provisioning, and strong integration support for cloud and on-premises applications, which really helps simplify identity management and improve security.

Smart Factor Authentication in OneLogin has helped us reduce unnecessary MFA prompts by applying extra verification only for risky logins. Automated provisioning saved a lot of time by automatically creating and removing user access based on HR or Active Directory changes.

OneLogin has positively impacted our organization by improving security and user experience by simplifying access to business applications through single sign-on while also reducing password reset tickets and manual account management for the IT team.

After implementing OneLogin, we saw password reset tickets drop noticeably because employees could access most applications through a single login and automated provisioning reduced manual onboarding and offboarding work that previously took the IT team hours each week.

Overall, OneLogin has been a reliable identity management platform for simplifying SSO and MFA across multiple applications. It is especially useful for organizations looking to reduce password-related support issues while improving access security.

What needs improvement?

OneLogin could improve its admin interface and troubleshooting experience because some configuration and error logs can be difficult to track during complex integrations or provisioning issues. Better documentation and faster support for advanced cases would also help IT teams manage deployments more efficiently.

One area I would appreciate improvement in is reporting and audit visibility because pulling detailed user activity or troubleshooting authentication failures can sometimes feel less intuitive than it should be, especially in larger environments.

Better customization and clearer workflow for complex conditional access policies in large enterprise environments are needed. I advise starting with a small pilot rollout first and ensuring that your identity sources such as Active Directory or HR systems are properly organized before enabling automated provisioning.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been working in my current field for one year.

This has given both users and our IT teams more confidence in our overall security.

What needs improvement?

Overall, our experience with OneLogin has been very positive, but there are a few areas where it could be improved. One area is the user interface, which could be made more intuitive and modern, especially for new users who may need some time to get familiar with the platform.

One area of improvement would be to enhance the customization of features, especially when it comes to access policies and user workflows. This would allow an organization to tailor the platform more closely to their specific needs.

Centralized access control has streamlined role changes and reduced support workloads

  • April 27, 2026
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for OneLogin is to centralize identity and access control.

For example, when any employee changes their roles, we update their role in OneLogin, and access to the old application is removed immediately while new application access is assigned automatically.

This process makes things easier and faster for our organization.

What is most valuable?

The best features OneLogin offers are the centralized access control and the seamless authentication through SSO, which allows users to log in once and access everything, making it very useful and the best feature.

My experience with the single sign-on feature is that it was very easy to integrate with other third-party applications, especially standard SaaS integrations, requiring little effort to customize the applications. We have integrated it with SAML, and once it is configured, users authenticate once and get all the access.

OneLogin has positively impacted our organization. The positive impacts include faster user access, which really improves efficiency, and it also reduces the IT support workload, meaning that our IT team spends less time on repetitive support tasks.

We have seen almost a 50 to 60% reduction in IT support tickets, making the task much easier.

We use the single sign-on capability in OneLogin, and it provides a very smooth and low friction experience. Users sign in once and access through OneLogin web portal to any integrated app, eliminating the need to remember multiple usernames and passwords.

The integration of phishing-resistant device trust impacts our authentication processes by relying on device trust validation and methods through biometrics and FIDO2 security keys, granting access only if the user's identity plus the trusted device are present.

Adaptive login flows with Vigilance AI are really useful features of OneLogin, making the authentication much more risk-aware and dynamic by providing a real-time risk score.

My impression of OneLogin's ability to provide a seamless end-user experience for signing in and authenticating to needed applications is very positive, as it is very smooth with an excellent user experience.

OneLogin delivers a very smooth and consistent user-friendly experience, leading to a very positive impression.

What needs improvement?

OneLogin can be improved by enhancing the reporting and analytic interface; apart from this, everything is perfect.

In reporting, the user graphic path could be generated so that we can check the specific applications each user has accessed in some GUI, and this type of reporting could be improved for better visibility.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using OneLogin for more than four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

OneLogin is stable.

Single sign-on has streamlined onboarding and improves secure access with adaptive authentication

  • April 26, 2026
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

OneLogin provides secure access through single sign-on as its main use case. When a new employee joins our organization, OneLogin automatically creates their account, assigns access to required apps, and allows access from a single portal. Our onboarding and secure access process begins with the HR system providing user information. OneLogin then syncs that user information, and based on their roles, provides access to applications such as email, internal tools, and cloud apps. Beyond onboarding, we use OneLogin in other ways as well.

What is most valuable?

OneLogin's best features focus on secure access automation and ease of use. Single sign-on stands out most for me, as it makes daily work much easier because users only need to log in once and can access all their applications from a single dashboard.

OneLogin balances security with user convenience, supporting adaptive authentication so security increases only when needed, such as during unusual login locations. OneLogin has had a very positive impact on my organization, especially in terms of security, efficiency, and user satisfaction.

We have seen clear measurable improvements after implementing OneLogin, especially in terms of time saving, reduced support workload, and improved security.

What needs improvement?

OneLogin is a strong IAM solution, though there are definitely a few areas where it can be improved, such as platform stability and outages, customer support responsiveness, and API customization limitations.

Additional improvements I would like to mention for OneLogin include usability and visibility, specifically in that the UI interface, reporting visibility, and documentation need to be improved.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using OneLogin for around six months.

What other advice do I have?

We primarily use AWS and interact with the SaaS platform, so the underlying infrastructure is managed by the vendor. We do use SmartFactor Authentication to adjust authentication flows in real time.

My impression of the user ID synchronization feature in OneLogin is very positive, as it is reliable and helps keep identities consistent across systems. The integration of phishing-resistant device trust in OneLogin has significantly strengthened our authentication process, ensuring that not just the user but also the device being used is trusted and verified before granting access.

OneLogin provides a very seamless end-user experience for signing in and accessing applications. Users log in once and can access all required applications without repeated logins, with all apps available in a single place which makes handling easy. We have used adaptive login flows with Vigilance AI, and they have been very effective in identifying risky behavior and adjusting authentication dynamically.

Overall OneLogin seems complete to me; it makes access easier, keeps everything secure, and saves time when working with several applications. I think it is very useful and secure and makes it easier to manage all my applications.

OneLogin has greatly improved efficiency because I can quickly access all the applications without wasting so much time with passwords. I also feel that the security of the information has increased. It has made me more efficient and secure when working with several applications.

Before I had problems remembering passwords or waiting for access, but since I have been using OneLogin, that almost never happens. Everything works quickly and securely.

What needs improvement?

OneLogin could improve a bit in loading speed or in the interface so that it is even more intuitive, but overall it works very well. One suggestion would be to make the interface a little simpler and faster. The authentication process is fine, but if it were more agile it would be perfect.
