MongoDB Tech Workshops
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the program outline for the technical workshops held.
What do you dislike about the product?
The deadline for the registering the pre workshops should have been extended a little bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the future I plan to use mongoDB to create an app that will help connect enterprenuers with verified investors to help them grow their business.

MongoDB provides flexible, high-performance database design to meet a wide variety of needs
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the flexibility of the schema, the horizontal scalability of the product, and the performance of the engine and query language.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything that I particularly dislike about the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving the problem of the storing of disparate format documents from various sources and partners, with the ability to easily update the schema to store new, related metadata. This speeds feature development, and promises easy expansion as use-cases arise.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider your starting data model, but expect that expansions can and will occur.

Performance and ability to manipulate data very easily without thinking of relationships.

I recently started using mongodb and did not face any issue yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
user ui configuration data. also looking to start storing large data from multiple high frequency real-time feeds as an alternative to rdbms

I love that I'm never saving the wrong document because my model and the engine enforces the correct settings.

I don't dislike MongoDB at all. I wouldn't want to use another database.

Creating platforms. Model flexibility.

Easy to set up, intuitive query language, high performing and incredibly reliable.

Aggregation framework is relatively slow.

Large scale aggregation and distribution of common data across global footprint.

The resiliency of the system and ability to define various topologies as needed.

Nothing with the product. Difficulty of external systems leveraging the product.

Maintaining a data store of provisioned systems. Ease of storing different properties based off systems rather than defined tables.
