Blackboard is the LMS of choice
What do you like best about the product?
The easiness of having an IL4 SaaS delivery service where you don't have to worry about updates and security scans is already amazing, but add the amazing features, AI, and all the constant innovations and improvement to the delivery of student engament, simply brings it to the top. You honestly get more from what you pay. Implementing Ultra was so painless, as it was the integration of other LTI or tools is always so easy, making my job as a LMS Administrator a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
While spmetimes communcation between the service reps can be a bit frustrating, they do listen to feedback and take complaints seriously. So I can't really blame them for being awesome!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blended learning. It's easy for cadets to read and do assessments even while snow days occur.

I like that the content and courses are easy to customize.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you can not do a bulk delete items from the content menu.

Blackboard Ultra is the way!
What do you like best about the product?
Blackboard Learn Ultra view is great at cross-platform compatibility between the computer brower, mobile device, and a tablet. This feature alone makes it so much better for students when they experience consistency regardless of the the access method for their course materials.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Blackboard Learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blackboard Learn enables me to engage with my students outside of the scheduled classroom time. I am able to send communications, collect assignments, create learning modules, and really extend my classroom into the digital arena.
Blackboard as an efficiency tool
What do you like best about the product?
The stability! I am a Systems Analyst with a focus on our records management system, and training delivery. Since going live with our new records management system we have never experienced a bug or an issue with the platform. The SSO is flawless and I have never received a call for support in that area.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our implementation could use some work and I am planning to redesign some of our interfaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had to cancel almost 20 in-person classes due to some unexpected resignations and thanks to Blackboard we were able to add 10 online synchronous classes with 100 students each and cover our students. All of our clients must have 40 hours of training annually to maintain their employment and without Blackboard we would have been in a mess.

The problem that BlackBoard is solving is flexibility for field employees to have access to a learning management system without having to be authenticated into the system through government means. Not answering.
Best LMS platform for ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to be creative. We are using the platform for everything from Asynchronous learning to face to face sessions

Sometimes BB Learn is overwhelming for new students and adjuncts to figure out.

BB Learn is the main LMS for our credit and noncredit programs.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the Product Development Team as they are very attentive to our requests as users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes dislike that fact that some chabfges are made and don't give control to the admins to be able to decide to use or not and then sometimes have to be changed.

We have been using Blackboard for 20 years and we use it for our Online, Hybrid, and in-person classes and have been learning with blackboard during the switch to Ultra. That is helping us become more modern and user friendly for students.
