Blackboard is a great LMS, always enhancing their product.
What do you like best about the product?
Blackboard is user friendly. There are a variety of features that are enticements to the overachieving faculty who are always looking to enhance their course deployments. Because it has been in the LMS market for so long, nearly all vendors have made sure they can integrate easily with it. With SaaS now deployed for large software applications, it has made implementation and upgrades much easier and more efficient. Customer support is tiered so if the first level does not have a fix, it gets escalated to the next tier until it is resolved. I use Blackboard daily and have for nearly 20 years now.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer Support is based out of the South America so getting someone that truly understands the problem or speaks clear English is at times a hinderance to getting quick resolutions.
Also, for large deployments like mine, some basic features were left off years ago as they enchanced the product and never brought back. Like setting a pagination display for number of viewable records. I must change this 25 times a day. Also, searching is limited to only one field which with 100,000 users, looking for "Smith" is tedious at best.

Upgrading the interface to a more 21 century look and feel.

Great product and support
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I feel that I have support and backing for what my company wants to do. Service has greatly improved. Ultra Learn is amazing. Happy with our decision to stay with Blackboard and other Anthology products.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it's difficult to get help with specific features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving big data problems and we love the analytics.
Blackboard is an incredible tool with user responsive product updates coming monthly.

What I like best about Blackboard as an admin is the customer support and the community of administrators that is ready to help if a need arises.

Nothing at the moment. Issues are addressed in a timely manner.

What do you like best about the product?
Blackboard is user friendly and I've used it without any issues for a decade. Super easy to upload assignments, find the correct classes, see calendar, and use Blackboard collaborate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing against Blackboard. Sometimes I need to access teh site in incognito mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing me to submit assignments and attend school online.
It's a very powerful and easy to use learning management system
What do you like best about the product?
The record keeping of students' activities such as tests, assignments, and so on. The data is presented in a convenient way for generating summary reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the conersion of QT files is not right. For example, when importing exam questions generated from a different site, some math formulas are not rendered correctly in Blackboard. It requires some manual editing to fix those errors.

I'm using Blackboard as a Learning Management Systems, which is very beneficial in my role as a professor.

What do you like best about the product?
Blackboard Learn is very innovative and constantly updated with new features and tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Regular updates are wonderful, but this means that users really must pay attention to stay on top of the latest features.

Blackboard Learn is adapting to the changing landscape of education and introducing features that are responsive to these changes.
Easy to use virtual learning environment
What do you like best about the product?
Most of the functions on Blackboard are intuitive and easy to use... if not, the help function usually has the answer.

Solving being able to monitor learner engagement with materials... allows all assessment to be delivered and marked online... allows external examiners to view all assessments not only the selection that we provide
Blackboard is easy to navigate and meets the needs of all students.
What do you like best about the product?
Blackboard is easy to use for LMS admins, instructors, and students. Integrating it with an SIS is a way to make it a great way to automate your processes to save you time. Bb recognizes the importance of a community site along with an Idea Exchange to bring forth ideas to improve. They have the right people to help implement your SaaS-based system with best-practice ideas. I have access to great support and a team of success managers to check-in on a regular basis. We have students logging in multiple times per week to stay up with their studies.

The few things I have disliked have been addressed from the community and idea exchange to help improve the experience for all users.

Blackboard is always in contact with us to let us know of new improvements and opportunities to use our systems for both for-credit classes and training of instructors.
Learning experience with pedagogy at it's heart
What do you like best about the product?
Learn ultra is clearly designed with ease for the learner and tutor at it's heart. The new AI tools are underpinned by strong pedagogical principles, designed to help the tutor with idea generation, taking some of the legwork out of designing strong formative assessment and feedback tools.
The platform is continuously growing in response to customer feedback and since the merge with anthology is clearly placing learners needs at the heart of everything it does.

What do you dislike about the product?
From an admin perspective the systems are still a bit outdated. It would be nice for those to get an overhaul on a par with the learning experience. I don't want to have to jump through hoops and add myself to courses in order to assist my users with copying content over for instance. But I'm sure these changes will come with time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is providing a secure space for assessment information and submission, as well as providing additional context outside of the lecture environment for our students to study from.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the User interface and features available on their platform.

Sometimes it works slow and it has less partnerships with popular teachers.

It helps alot in my startup, its very useful for the small business owners.
