"Unpacking the Power of CloudAMQP: A Comprehensive Review"

  • October 04, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Because of its extraordinary combination of dependability and ease of use, CloudAMQP distinguishes out as a premier cloud-based message queuing solution. One of its distinguishing characteristics is its remarkable dependability, which is vital for mission-critical applications. Users can be confident that their messaging infrastructure will stay available and robust in the face of unanticipated obstacles thanks to automated backups, data redundancy, and seamless failover procedures. This dependability means that firms can continue continuous communication and data processing, creating trust among customers and internal teams alike.

CloudAMQP's user-friendly UI and simple setup process also make it a favorite among developers and IT professionals. Whether you're a seasoned expert or new to message queuing systems, CloudAMQP's user-friendly platform simplifies queue and message administration.
What do you dislike about the product?
While CloudAMQP has numerous advantages, one aspect that some consumers may find less enticing is the pricing of its services. Its pricing structure as a managed cloud-based messaging service might be costly for enterprises with significant message throughput or those requiring extensive resources for complex messaging configurations. Users should carefully assess their message requirements as well as their budget limits to ensure that CloudAMQP meets their financial expectations. It is crucial to emphasize, however, that the costs are justified by the service's dependability, scalability, and the time and effort saved in managing messaging infrastructure independently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CloudAMQP addresses the issue of efficiently maintaining and growing message queuing infrastructure. It reduces the need for users to handle the intricacies of infrastructure installation, maintenance, and scalability on their own by providing a fully managed cloud-based solution for popular messaging protocols like RabbitMQ. This benefit translates into lower operational overhead, allowing enterprises to focus their resources and efforts on building and upgrading their applications rather than infrastructure management. Furthermore, CloudAMQP's dependability and scalability characteristics ensure that key messages are constantly delivered and that the messaging system can easily adjust to shifting workloads, resulting to enhanced application performance and customer satisfaction.

Better than Amazon but room for improvement.

  • July 17, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The only thing I like is not having to manage my own rabbitMQ cluster and being able to see what is happening.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is confusing and the documentation is confusing. I realize this is a developer tool but it's like they wrote it for people who have 10+ years of experience in everything. Adding those "?" icons that tell you what stuff means would be a huge help for beginners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to manage our rabbitMQ clusters and track any issues down. Benefits have been being able to do just that but not with ease due to the UI.

Great RabbitMQ as service

  • January 22, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Solution is very stable and easy to deploy. Very flexible plans and fast support.
You can put the enhanced metrics into your own CloudWatch or ask them to install the Prometheus plugin and scrape it like your own cluster.
What do you dislike about the product?
As usual in the SaaS world -- the price is high, but in case that message queue is actually a very important part of every platform, it is much better to rely on the guys, who knows how to cook it properly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unstable in-house RabbitMQ cluster gave us a lot of stability issues. 0 issues since ~1 year after the move to CloudAMQP
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need the stable and easy deployable RabbitMQ -- that's your choice
