What I like best about the product is its strong and reliable protection for cloud environments without adding complexity. It provides clear visibility into traffic, blocks threats in real time and integrates smoothly with major cloud platforms. The centralized management also makes it easy to apply security policies across different environments which saves a lot of time and effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about the product is that the initial setup and policy tuning can be a bit complex, especially for teams that are new to Check Point. The interface is powerful but sometimes feels overwhelming. Pricing can also be on the higher side compared to some other alternatives.

i like best about checkpoint cloud gaurd network security is its strong cloud native security with centeralized management. it has a firewall that makes easy to maintain security of our environment
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very difficult to setup and learning is also quite difficult and license is also expensive, we also facing problem while troubleshooting and also difficult for new users to adapt.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Check point cloud guard network security helps our company by addresssing challenges to securing the cloud environments. our infrasturcture is accross cloud platform and on premises system.

I really appreciate the peace of mind that Check Point CloudGuard Network Security gives us. I find it incredibly useful to see potential risks, traffic flows, and compliance status all in one place. A major plus is the automation, where CloudGuard automatically applies security policies and prevents common threats, allowing our small security team to manage a large, complex cloud environment more efficiently. I think the pricing is higher than some other tools we considered, and some advanced features require more technical knowledge to configure.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the quite detailed traffic and threat logs, which made troubleshooting much easier for me. Also, it solved the problem of serving as quite efficient threat prevention.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing clarity could use quite a lot more work, honestly. SmartConsole feels quite heavy and slow than what one would expect, so I think if you could make it somehow lighter and more cloud optimized. Initial setup was overly complex. I would definitely not recommend it to anyone new to the industry or using products like these. I am positive the complexities would deter them from using it.

I've used Check Point CloudGuard Network Security primarily as a firewall in cloud environments, mainly to control traffic on AWS and Azure. It efficiently solves the problem of threat prevention.

On top of that, the cost and licensing model can be difficult to optimize for smaller environments or for rapidly changing cloud workloads, which adds another layer of challenge when trying to keep things efficient.

The finest thing for Check Point Cloud Guard Newtwork Security, In my opinion is how well it protects my cloud traffic. I appropriate how simple it is to maintain security policy in one location and it is dependable and work nicely with cloud vendors. Also threat protection seems modern and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Set and configuration can occasionally be a little challenging particularly in more complicated environments. Update and policy changes may take some time to implement.
