I have had an excellent experience with 3cx
What do you like best about the product?
i have found 3cx very helpful, from the simple setup and instillation, and the quick provisioning of phones, and the fact you can easily customize an instance for a clients needs all from a web console. and if the customer suddenly has to change a call flow, or the way they take calls, its easy to do this, with minimal fuss. its a really simple product, that most of our clients are now managing themselves.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found any downsides to 3cx yet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have opened a market to ourselves by being able to easily provision and sell 3cx phone systems, Showing a customer how it works is simple and it sells itself. it gives the customers the freedom now to be always available no matter where they are, which in this climate is as important as ever
Easy to set up and go for in building or remote work!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and the no hassle SIP forking so if I’m on a call at my desk and need to go somewhere I can continue the call right on my cellphone!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the things that the system thinks are errors are actually false positives. Downsides would be if you are in poor cellular or wifi or have a very crowded internet connection you will have problems
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our landline pbx died so we needed a quick affordable solution, this company saved our business
3CX after 5 years of usage
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use once it is set up. We can add users, change menus, add recordings and background music very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup can be a little tricky, thus the need for a VAR. Security can become an issue if you don't know what your doing, also the need for a VAR. The 3CX app for smartphones is great, but requires that you are up to date on the version of 3CX on premise (if you chose that route).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small company, so it is nice to have a system that is easy maintain.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can install it for free and try it out. If you have decent technical ability you should be able to set this up as a trial and give it a good test.

Highly recommended for business professionals
What do you like best about the product?
From the adminstrators view it's simple to manage the PBX. It does not consume a big amount of hardware ressources, even in bigger installations. That saves my customers money as they do not need to invest most of their budget into new hardware. There are plenty of opportunities to manage calls what completely matches with my customers need.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is serously nothing i could think about in the near past. If there is a problem the 3CX support is at your side. So nothing for me to complain about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My customers can work remote from whereever they are what is a big benefit in actual covid-19 times. It does not matter if they are on a Windows Device, on a Mac, any kind of iOS or Android Device. Even on Windows Terminal Servers everything works like a charm. While my customers can choose from a bunch of SIP trunks they are in the position to cut their phone bills by around 50 percent or more comparing to their old provider. And another big pro is the included option for holding nearly any kind of web meeting or phone conference with the PBX. Again, in covid-19 times this is a big pro because you ca meet up with clients and business partners and look them in their eyes even if your are not in the same room. Because of this there is no more need to use any other conference provider what will safe you some more extra money.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check out how many users you will have an pick the right license for simultanous calls. After that check the requirements for your installation size and your are good to go.
3CX PBX
What do you like best about the product?
3CX makes hosting, configuring, and managing a phone system very easy. They are continually updating and taking feedback from their community.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside of 3CX is that they move slow on their backend, sometimes they only approve certain carriers on an updates.
Can't modify outbound caller IDs without another trunk.
Can't modify outbound caller IDs without another trunk.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
3CX is capable of doing everything you would want in a phone system, calling, routing, hosting, web RTC.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When selling 3CX make sure you understand all the ins and outs before diving in head first. Partner with a quality SIP carrier like us (Voxtelesys). The hardest part is making sure the customer is happy before even setting up one phone, so make sure you pick good partners that can help support you and make selling 3CX easy.
Once you are ready use debian for your installs and do updates via root access. We have found SBCs are not necessary if using a quality host and phones.

3CX partner for years - and happy
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using 3CX internally as a telephone system for our company since 2007 and can react to any change immediately and without much effort. Since about 2012 we offer UCaaS for our customers and run a large number of virtual instances in our data centre. Thanks to the Linux installation, this is also possible without any complications.
With the bridging possibilities we can also implement systems across continents and still provide excellent quality.
The clear and for everyone understandable price model makes it easier for us to sell to our customers, who usually realise the added value and savings very quickly.
Simple administration, fast and competent support clearly round off this top product.

What do you dislike about the product?
For some time now, the APIs have been consistently dismantled, thus limiting the possibilities of connecting to third-party software. Customers with dialer systems used to be able to use the C# interface, which is difficult to do today.
Furthermore, 3CX unfortunately offers little support for special solutions and often refers to a "not supported situation".
What is clearly missing at the moment is the integration of MS Teams extensions. Here we are waiting for a clear international need, which the product is currently competing strongly (albeit wrongly).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
3CX offers us hardly any limitations in the variety of possibilities. What cannot be covered with the standard functions can be built with the Call-Flow-Designer and thus many possible scenarios can be mapped.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look no further. With 3CX you will find the ideal product from small to large.
Even if the company is still growing, 3CX is growing with you.

3CX helped reduce our monthly pbx costs and allowed us to have remote extensions to enable employees to work remotely with ease.
