Greatest VoiP Phone System Ever

  • April 09, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Whats not to like. Easy phone provisioning, supports a wide range of phones, Constantly improving it, apps for both iphone and android, webmeeting w/video support, remote control of other user computer systems for tech support and the list goes on and on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs more sip trunk documentation for non certified providers like ATT. I know I said non certified but lets be real sometimes you have to use such because some businesses might under contract and will need to use the service until their contract expires i.e. Att Sip Trunks
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Covid -19 over half of our office had to start working from home with out any prior warning, Was able to have them up and running with a full feature phone setup including video conferencing within one day. Its like they are still in the office and the ability to collaborate on day to day issues has been great.

3CX - The I.T. Managers Phone System

  • April 09, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Its very intuitive for both technical and non technical. I like the vast amount of hardware that can link up to it. My Reseller and Support company are TOP NOTCH. Obviously why they chose 3CX.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of. I wish I would have moved my current company to this right after I started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The BIGGEST benefit I have found is the mobile app. In the days of "Shelter in Place" and work from home, the mobile app has proven it worth millions of times over. I could guide my staff to download it and sync it up with ease. From there its like they are at the office.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Forget any other thoughts of phone systems 3CX is the way to go hands down.

A great system all around

  • April 09, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of installation and implementation of 3CX, Coming from a hosted VoIP from AT&T I am relived at how customizable this system is and being able to perform my own troubleshooting. Everything about 3CX is great. The team at the office like how versatile the system and how easily it adapted to the current remote working situation. The VDNA system we had would have never been this flexible.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few features I wish were easier to adjust like call waiting notices and some minor issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The COVID-19 situation I am so happy we went with 3CX. This has made getting calls to people remotely so much easier and pain free.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great VoIP phone system I highly recommend

Powerful and Robust

  • April 09, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
3CX is one of the most powerful, robust phone systems I have ever had the pleasure to deploy on a wide scale enterprise environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of arbitrariness. For example, there can be no spaces in user passwords and the encryption passphrase for backups cannot have special characters and a max of 32 characters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can use DAC adapters to have door control, alarm systems, etc. It's also very useful that we can use skill-based routing in our ring groups to have the next caller be connected to the representative with the least total calls for the day.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get phones that work natively with 3CX under "Local LAN" setting. Fanvil phones are a good consideration.

- stability of the pbx interface and back-end
- wide OS and devices support as servers or phone client
- Constant updates and improvements almost non stop
- Security always top priority for 3cx
What do you dislike about the product?
- What I want to see or to have SMS/MMS feature from SIP trunks support SMS , I think it will be available during 2020 accroding one of emails I received from 3cx.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- I have a partnership as 3cx and already many of my clients using 3cx, some of my clients is very sensitive business in terms of depending on phone systems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
you can use 3cx free of charge on the cloud - just try it nothing to lose to try.

Easy and Effecient

  • April 09, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The setup of a 3cx system is really simple and very efficient when it comes to a managing aspect. If you are running on a Linux environment updating is the easiest I have seen. Support is also very helpful. And there is a huge community that is willing to help. The variety of phones that will work with a 3CX system is vast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing, I wish they would allow all options on one license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now working remote is the biggest problem and having a 3CX PBX at our customers sites help with that. They can either install the applications on their workstations at home or use the mobile app on their cell phones and still conduct business.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
3CX is very easy to manage and that is the main goal when looking at any business related application.

3CX is easy to use with many great features

  • April 09, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the CSR feature. my favorite feature I will have to say is the call back feature. We now see how many calls we lost before 3CX.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to say. I haven't had any issues so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After we installed 3CX on our network, our CSR numbers have increased thanks to the call back feature.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend following the supported IP phones as it can get a bit tricky if you use an IP phone that is not supported. I suggest using Yealink. They work best with 3CX.

The ability to remotely monitor and provide customer support.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Strongly consider making use of a 3CX partner in your area. The software can be implemented by anyone with tech savvy, but having the knowledge and expertise of a certified partner can ensure a smooth implementation.

What do you like best about the product?
3CX is easy to install, easy to manage and just works, In my option it is the most cost-effective mainstream IP based phone system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, it is a bit like Cuprinol. it does what it says on the tin and is constantly being updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You are allowing users to have a complete mobile experience, work from any location with the android/iphone apps. Video/Voice conferencing is included at no extra cost.
