It is easy to use, number from Salesforce directly get transferred to 3CX just on one click . The number do not need multiple extension now immediately numbers can be dialed.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no ring or tone when the number gets disconnected or goes to voicemail. If the number is not reachable it says tariff plan not updated or number needs recharge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Calling is easy and licences come cheap. We do not need multiple extension to call now or country code to put and dial a particular number. Our sales outut has shown a rise.

Fairly clumsy and lacking features

  • February 03, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's got a better interface than Asterisk or FreePBX. If you're using a supported provider, set up, should be fairly simple. There are some advanced features like IVR, multi-tenanted installations, and hotel/call centre functionality
What do you dislike about the product?
The sales model is annoying, predominantly relying on re-sellers. It's very hard to purchase or renew anything directly with 3CX.

The model of providing a hosted option, or your own hosting, or on premise, seems flexible, but ultimately it's quiet a confusing way to sell the product.

Support seems to vary, and they charge fees to SIP providers to be featured and supported on the platform, so you might find that support for your SIP provider is there at the beginning, but in my case, it became no longer supported, and I had to use manual settings which have been unreliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a reasonable commercial alternative to a platform like free PBX.

We use it to support our office across two countries with multiple inbound and outbound numbers, with most of our users now using the 3CX mobile app

  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Available on the telephone, laptop, tablet, and personal computers. and number and email can be added to our professional network. User friendly interface is the main thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
i have nothing major but, only my colleagues have the information to use this application. however, the rest of my close friends don't use this application. i guess lack of PR on this project
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
more user network is required, i think that is the main target for all stakeholders at the moment. we need to have a larger network and more users to have. otherwise, it will be forgotten like VIIBEER SKIIIPEE etc.

Quick and Easy To Use Dialler

  • December 09, 2022
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
3CX integrates into other platforms brilliantly and allows me to connect quickly and dial out to my prospects with ease. I am also able to dial internally for quick conversations when I need to.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I have had so far with 3CX is that sometimes, the call data provided at the end of the day has been incorrect. This was quickly fixed after contacting the customer care team, which entertained this issue and sorted it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
3CX allows me to dial all over the world quickly and efficiently. Having access to all of my colleagues in one easy-to-use contacts page enables me to seamlessly contact and message them as soon as I need to.

Simple UI, admin friendly, but surprisingly robust system

  • November 12, 2022
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
In contrast to phone systems of the past like Cisco UCM, 3cx presents you with such a simple admin interface it seems laughable at first. When you dig into the different features you find that it does have every feature you need and all that you want but delivered in a logical and straightforward way that allows you to become an expert in hours rather than phone systems of the past which required months of study and hands on experience to become moderately skilled in navigating labyrinthian menus ambiguously named groups and lists. Once I had used 3cx I could never return to UCM other dilapidated systems again. And the most incredible thing is by comparison 3cx is dirt cheap and can often make use of existing VOIP phones or install the 3cx app instead and throw hardware out the window. Call quality is pristine and call routing is a dream. Host in the cloud or on-prem or both and have no deficit in call quality. Any issues I've seen were solved with a couple slight tweaks to the call settings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Faxing is an issue. They are making small strides on working reasonably well with an existing line but plan to switch to a cloud service if you have multiple fax lines and save yourself a headache. This is the only area 3cx lags behind competitors like Ring Central.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The simple call center features have enabled customers business units to operate at nearly double the efficiency and with a small fraction of the admin overhead.
