Sigma - the best visualization platform for those without being very technical
What do you like best about the product?
The teams and their abilities to help customers and stakeholders understand what issues they are having and assisting the internal teams to find alternative solutions. . We also like their Chat feature, this has been very useful with formulas that worked in our other platform and "translating" it to work in Sigma. Very cool feature!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations with the map features, but I understand the product team is working on it and will have better updates for future use cases. The Sigma platform is very Excel, user friendly but has some issues with those who are used to writing SQL queries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our previous platform had limitations in queries running for hours before updating a data visualization or report. Sigma was brought in because of it's ability to interact and ingest data from multiple data warehouses and use those data warehouses to cache data in memory for ease of use.

What I enjoy most about Sigma is how accessible the live chat support is.

It's too early for me to have a dislike yet.

we are making dashboards for very essential reports of a clinical trails
User friendly, minimize change management challenges. Back end friendly with Snowflake in particular

End users are comfortable with the interface, making change management and adoption less of a challenge

Learning different ways of filtering and using formulas, even if it opens up much more powerful analysis with less limitations

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Sigma makes data analysis easy and accessible to everyone in the organization. The platform's intuitive and user-friendly interface allows even non-technical users to create complex data visualizations and reports without relying on the IT team. Sigma also seamlessly integrates with popular cloud data warehouses, making data ingestion and transformation a breeze. What's more, the customer support is excellent and always available to help with any questions or issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
One minor drawback of Sigma is the limited range of visualization options. While the platform offers a good selection of charts and graphs, it would be great to see more advanced visualizations and customization features. Another improvement would be better control over data security and permissions.

This is very nice tool among other ETL tools, I will recommend to all devs to try it once you ll love it, it's quite fast & also support various connectors.

Not as such, only small bit , dashboard feature could be better

Powerful, Flexible BI Tool

UI is easy to use across the business and great customer support

Sigma crashes sometimes and goes slow when pulling up information

It helps us track our leads and lead conversion rate. It also helps us see stats and connect multiple databases together to find trends
Extremely helpful when it comes to BI
What do you like best about the product?
it's feasible when it comes to building a dashboard in sigma in comparison to other tools, it's so easy to build everything in sigma and easy to use when building logic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of comments in the shared reports, or lacking of an assignment feature for request changes on the owner of a report or sheet. Sometimes I just want to right click a value and leave a comment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
bulding up the bank dashboard for the board members to identify how many customers are opting there bank analysing how many are converted and how many are fraud.
