BI tool of the future
What do you like best about the product?
This tool is intuitive and quick to set up and use. It integrates seamlessly with Snowflake. Role and team-based user management come out of the box, ensuring the right data is in the hands of the right people in our organization. It has also accelerated our client-facing analytics roadmap by months.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I'm hoping to see in the future is integration with GitHub, allowing for better dataset and workbook version control. Today the difference between 'dev' and 'prod' can challenging to manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sigma is where many users across multiple parts of the organization access their data and answer important questions. It is the place where we track our organization's KPIs. We also perform in-depth analyses in Sigma. It satisfies all our data & analytics needs: cleansed and democratized data, beautiful and impactful dashboards, critical ad-hoc analysis, financial planning and analysis, business intelligence and analytics.

What do you dislike about the product?
Lacks entity relationship modeling. More robust data cleaning and modeling should be done at the source.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sigma bridges the gap between the business's stale Excel reports and other data tools' complexity.
A similar UI to Excel allows new users to create reports that auto-refresh without coding. SQL, PowerQuery, Tableau, PowerBI, or VBA experience is unnecessary.

Best BI Analytics Software I've ever used
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love that I can export a dashboard directly into Google sheets. It makes things so seamless. I'm also a huge fan of their free support team available literally whenever I need them. You can tell it's built by individuals who appreciate the value of empowering their users with full control of their data. What do you dislike about the product?
It's a fairly new product, so just being patient while they add usability is the only thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us track our leads and lead conversion rate. It also helps us see stats and connect multiple databases together to find trends.

What do you like best about the product?
Sigma allows our business users to gain insights into their data without having SQL experience. Additionally, our Product Managers are able to dive into the data to identify and define new features using data-driven analysis. We can find actionable insight in minutes rather than days because our internal business users can create reports without having to go a BI specialist to create complex SQL. Sigma has been an absolute game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Thus far, we do not see a lot of downside. One small area we look forward to is further customization on embedded reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sigma is allowing our clients to identify key insights into their data that are *actionable.* Additionally, our clients can customize and create their own reports within our product and that reduces the impact on our BI team. *And, they can do this without knowing SQL.* I cannot overstate how much positive impact this has had for both our external clients and our internal staff. Internally, we use Sigma to identify trends across our entire Client base and that drives new features for our product lines.

Sigma is leading tool in data engineering and solving many problem related to data

What do you like best about the product?
The tool was very user-friendly, and the performance was way better compared to its competitors. The tool was faster, more durable and supported most of the functionalities needed by me as the user.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool offered a variety of functionalities, however, it would be a great addition if the tool starts supporting more sources and provides in-built functionalities such as data type formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easier to debug the operations as sigma provides detailed descriptions of the errors and supports data types such as Geography/geometry which is rare in tools.

I like that you can find all relevant information on sigma. It loads pretty quickly. I use multiple sigmas an hour.

When the sigma times out or does not load the query. The fact that a version needs to be update frequently.

sometimes it's slow and could not show results immediately and cannot connect with the database
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sigma helped me with daily/weekly metrics tracking and visualizing the change. Also, it can send the result to our slack channel so that I don't need to type in the channel by myself and everybody can see. It saved a lot of time
