Ease of Use
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I am able to create dashboards the way I want my users to see them. They have options for simple visuals for ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it requires a lot of SQL, hopefully there will be a no-code option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sigma allows our business to see a variety of metrics that best serve their department needs. The can also request changes and we can make those changes on the fly.

How it helps keep our business data readily available, could not operate without sigma!

When many users are ok , the load time are inconsistent and sometimes crash

Modern, fast, BI and data modeling SaaS app
What do you like best about the product?
Sigma makes it very straightforward to model data via SQL and then visualize the data in a variety of formats. Once configured, you can schedule materializations and keep reports auto-updated. It syncs with Google spreadsheet too, so you can deliver data and insights even via spreadsheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to annotate cells in reports. You can add a comment, but that applies to the entire element rather than a specific cell/value. This is a feature coming (in beta) in a few months. Every so often, there are odd materialization errors not tied to any changes I've made.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By simplifying data modeling, data visualization, and BI, Sigma empowers me to drastically shorten time to insights and provides a polished way to present data to others, as well as keep that data updated automatically.

it is very organized and makes work life so much easier. Having so much data at our fingertips literally makes the place run

i understand it can be a lot of data to load but it can be kinda slow

Inventory accuracy, receiving accuracy

What do you like best about the product?
I love the user-friendliness of the platform -- much easier than Looker and Tableau (have used both in the past). I also love the versatility of data inclusion (cloud datbase, CSV, etc.).
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love the visualizations area -- I think that it could be improved, but I'm wondering if the new Workbook feature will cover this need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our data stack at the moment is VERY wide -- we have information in a lot of different places. Sigma helps us parse this information out and synthesize it together as needed.

Smooth data pipeline process, Performance of the sigma is very much reliable.

everything in the tool is so perfect with usability.

Data pipeline problem is mainly solved by sigma
Sigma reporting Is very helpful! My only complaint is the amount of time it takes to populate

love workbooks and appreciate the power of parametrized queries in Sigma. Have had a great experience using it for almost 2 years now

not sure how we can build custom charts like Waterfall charts/ Treemap/ Heat maps/ Gantt chart

Sigma is an awesome BI tool that enables users to visualize and analyze the data in the best possible manner with the help of custom queries, charts and formulae
Flexible data gathering and reporting, highly customizable to fit any departments' needs.
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of reporting that's available to users, as well as how specific and granular it can get. It meets all of our business needs and then some.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the delays in reporting, which is not necessarily the fault of Sigma, can make getting accurate, real-time numbers difficult. And sometimes the tables show different numbers than the boxes above them with the highlights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sigma is allowing our organization to determine how our users interact with our platform and how we can better target those users to ensure platform stickiness.
