My Firsthand Experience about using Sigma!
What do you like best about the product?
Sigma has a very user friendly Interface and Drag and Drop functionality. Creating a dashboard layout is very easy in sigma as the elements auto adjusts itself, easy to trim extra spaces . Also it has got the write back capability by using input using using will can write back to the database, We can have a Centralised datasets/ Data Models
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently I am finding it difficult to create a custom visualisation , which are not available in Sigma default library.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A table like structure which is very beneficial. We are currently using sigma for clients who wants to migrate reports from other visualization tools to sigma.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Sigma for me is that it allows the apps to have sleek modern look with little to no effort. It has wide variety of customization options, viz objects look clean and fresh. It is extremely easy to work with this product especially having prior experience of using Excel as a viz tool. Also I really appreciate the Customer Support service, on early stages of getting dev experience with Sigma I am using them as second opinion - in situations when the requirements of the app cannot be satisfied in the way I used to do things.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some part (rather small) of features we are used to in our previous BI tool are not yet available, and the only way to know if such features were considered to be implemented at some point is to use Support online chat. Also there's less flexibility in mixing different data sources in one app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most valuable thing I can see in Sigma for business is that it is always based on live data from the data source you use. That allows users to always get the latest data possible. Also that removes one of the steps in a pipeline the data usually goes through, which simplifies troubleshooting.

What do you like best about the product?
We have some large data sets on Snowflake and Sigma makes it easy for our business users of all skill levels to dive right into the data sets to make reports and dashboards that are easy to read and widely used by others in our company. The tool is used daily by Finance, Ops, CX, and Sales teams. Support is quick to answer questions to more complicated tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slight learning curve to writing more complicated functions and commands
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have large data sets from various sources consolidated in Snowflake using DBT. Sigma is used by the business users to access and join these Main tables in Snowflake to build out dashboards, executive reports, and maintain data visibility and quality within our organization

What do you like best about the product?
I like the outputs we are able to create for our organization and are able to be quickly picked up by anyone
What do you dislike about the product?
Sigma at times lags in its interface when connected to large datasets
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They help us solve the probelme of visualizing siloed data for organization benefit and decision making. It also allows us something share with our client to make meaningful decisions.
Sigma is a great tool, it makes it easier for Analytics to provide dashboards to Marketers.
What do you like best about the product?
It makes my Analytics team happy :) Also its flexibility allows me to ask for more precise metrics from our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could be improved. When I am using Sigma sometimes I feel like I'm going back in time and I prefer the Looker UI. Looker also seems to be a bit faster.

Sigma helps me figure out how much revenue my Accessories and Apparel campaigns make.

The accuracy when it comes to determining my actual commission amount going on to my check.

I do not like the timing in which updates. I wish it would calculate commission as we earn it.

It's easier to use than similar products.

Data is hard to up data across multiple workbooks, search is a bit hard.

I don't have all the permissions so exporting reports is tough.

User friendly and easy to process large data sets
What do you like best about the product?
Once you get the hang of the interface, it's easy to build charts and related data sets in ways that Excel and other aggregators can't perform easily. I also love the AI formula builder integration
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve to understand the interface.

We can't set our own search using the pivot table or any other personal info to be displayed in the reports.
