What do you like best about the product?
This is the most efficient backup and recovery solution provided by AWS.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is bit of speed issue and time stamps but considering efficiency it's ok.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used for file recovery for high volume of data. We have used for restoration in case of outage.

Review of Veeam Backup for AWS
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam Backup for AWS has been an excellent solution for our backup requirements with its ease of configuration for a hybrid cloud infrastructure we have. It is pretty responsive in terms of replication as well as recovery of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Veeam Backup for AWS can be costly, depending on the number of sockets you have. Also, it needs to improve support for database backups such as PostgreSQL and handle parallel backups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam Backup for AWS protects and secures data by backing up in scheduled intervals, especially for our EC2 and EFS workloads. It integrates well with native AWS storage solutions such as S3, and Glacier Deep Archive, which is needed for long-term retention and compliance requirements. We also have benefitted from the feature to backup and restore entire VPC.

What do you like best about the product?
It support both on-primises and cloud data back-up. And also security and recovery for the data is never so easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
None come up with as of now , we are happy to uskng it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its slove the problem of on -premises data storage and at the same time we have also able to store it in cloud. Because the product we are working is kind of hybrid architecture.
Veeam Backup Secure and Reliable and faster recovery of AWS
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to integrate with AWS cloud, very convenient for backup and replication and store all workloads that are parellely running with the AWS environment, Reliability at its highest levels of data availability and pliability.
What do you dislike about the product?
Veeam backup has many benefits for AWS, But still at times back and recovery is not fast as you would like to have it and also at times integration with other tools or platforms which can lead to technical errors and glitch.

I liked the product until.....
What do you like best about the product?
VEEAM for AWS was easy to setup and get running. After it was running it worked without incident and was easy to use for our backups as well as DR backups to S3. The product also is affordable UNLESS you use Marketplace assets (see dislikes). I would recommend this product for any customer using standard AWS AMI's but I would encourage caution if someone uses licensed Marketplace assets (see dislikes) as you may get surprised by additional charges.
What do you dislike about the product?
I noticed one flaw that I saw as a major issue. Unfortunately VEEAM doesnt seem to want to address it. This issue will affect anyone using a Marketplace license for a system (Red Hat, Suse, etc). These licenses tag their primary disk with the license. When VEEAM creates a backup it creates a snapshot and then a new volume from the snapshot, mounting it on a worker instance of your sizing. Because it mounts the volume of the system being backed up and because that volume is tagged as a licensed system you will be getting charged an additional hourly marketplace charge for that licensed system. If you have a large amount of these systems this can get VERY expensive as these will also be hourly charges outside of your license contract.
I really wish VEEAM would look at this issue but so far their response was "this is working as intended." So now I must look elsewhere.

So to begin the product worked as expected and for the most part was affordable until I noticed one flaw that I saw as a major issue. Unfortunately VEEAM doesnt seem to want to address it. This issue will affect anyone using a Marketplace license for a system (Red Hat, Suse, etc). These licenses tag their primary disk with the license and VEEAM creates a snapshot, then a volume from the snapshot to perform a backup. Unfortunately this means that you are going to be paying hourly licenses for each of these Marketplace assets which can get VERY expensive depending on how many you have.
I really wish VEEAM would look at this issue but so far their response was "this is working as intended." So now I must look elsewhere.
Just an FYI. I did warn VEEAM I would be submitting these reviews if they didnt want to look at the issue as I dislike writing bad reviews. They chose not too.

What do you like best about the product?
They help with some misinformations that we had on past about backup on cloud mostly in AWS. After the workshop I could see how important and professional veeam is in cloud services.
What do you dislike about the product?
We could have more workshops about the this features in Veeam Backup.
Maybe some lab to do during the workshop. I believe that may help to some new users or professionals.

Well, automation is particurlarly a feature that almost professional is looking for. With some open services that Veeam could provide, automation tools would help a lot veeam backup tasks.

Yes its the best till now, better in backup and anyone can afford it easily
NAS level backup jobs at Nutanix level using veeam.
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam neat and clean interface and proper documentation. We had a. Lot of issues while deployment but eventually we figured them out due to the proper documentation available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing. Its costly. Veeam should work on their pricing model a bit to make it more affordable. Good technology should be made available in reasonable pricing to get good and permanent customer base.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Doing Nas backup jobs for nutanix files to aws. We had a use case of backing up our nutanix files which are distributed to the aws as our dr model. We tried different solutions but veeam worked out the best for us.

Its one of the best available solution out there.
