Qlik is an intuitive data analysis tool with a very strong ETL backend
What do you like best about the product?
- The ETL in the backend is very strong, and it was quite easy to pick up and begin to work with
- Very user friendly, filtering is intuitive, it is always clear what you are looking at

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have more options for graphs, it seems like PowerBI and Tableau offer a little more variety.
Aesthetics aren't very customizable, it is a lot of work to change colours for instance

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is one of our main reporting softwares, it is helping people to quickly generate their own insights.
We also use the back end for some additional data transformation as it can load a file, alter the data, and store it at the end, this has greatly helped with process automisation

Dashboard interactivity is the best feature

The initial setup is a bit cumbersome and could be more intuative

In my last contract we developed WIP management reports that quickly because the driver for production

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and interaction. Being able to click on every part of the dashboard and see the other metrics change accordingly allow you to quickly view and present the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little. It is extremely easy to use the software, with an extremely intuitive user interface. However, the administration side is not intuitive and you are required to reach out to support for changes that you could easily make yourself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Displaying business metrics internally, as well as easily creating customizable reports for clients.

The Qlik Engine and data load script which help you to write complex syntaxes make from QlikSense a powerful BI tool.

Qliksense don’t have multiple visualisations posibilities like QlikView or Tableau

What do you like best about the product?
The product Data Model used the Associative Engine which enables us create one large data model from multiple sources in its rawest form. This can be accessed as one source of truth. All the aggregations and subsets are reading from the same data model. This empowers the users when making data selections and insights into see all the data in context. This saves time to get solution built or create sub solutions for projects. Qlik Sense has improved our Data Literacy and Data Self-reliance with in our environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I don't like is that the product is limited for alerting. We created out own in script email alerts to solve this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our key benefits are: Time savings to get data out. No hidden data lost in scripts. Can see all the data in context. Easier to govern the data ecosystem and maintain good data quality.

When starting out watch YouTube videos in the Qlik channel. Play on the Desktop version to get the hang of things.

Qlik works on constant improvements, both visually as well as data feed and releases every 3 months a new version making sure that the latest technology is always available.
Intuitive BI tool that's constantly evolving
What do you like best about the product?
Qlik is a mature, robust product with great community support and a constantly evolving product range that leads the BI industry by championing new technologies.
What do you dislike about the product?
Free version of Qlik Sense Desktop discontinued.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Self service data discovery. Allowing all staff at all levels to interact with the available data to deliver business insight and driving a culture of data literacy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Qlik Sense is an excellent base product with many advanced features however, my advice would be to also look at the additional extensions available from reputable vendors (Vizlib, Ometis etc) as these can provide additional features that are more advanced then the standard offerings Qlik has.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With such dynamic view that Qlik provides, we can search and drill down the huge database to get the wanted info rather than keep using CRM solution which can make it more complicated

Ease of use to get started. Love the customization from the online community and available 3rd parties that add functionality into the platform. The ability to write back data to a database from the app allows amazing flexability.

Have not really found any at this point.

Quick turnaround on reporting and analytics. We have built some really cool apps that would not have been possible without a tool like Qlik. We have started a Data Governance program to build institutional consensus around measures to drive the business forward.

Just dive in, compare it to other services and you will see why Qlik is the best, the ease of use, large library of visualization, online community, and 3rd party support are just a few reasons that it is at the top of its class.

What do you like best about the product?
This incredible data visualization and analysis tool encourages the discovery of information with a data visualization application that everyone can use. This is one of the best tools for any type of organization, Qlik Sense responds immediately when a user clicks, generates a view on the fly, it automatically manages all the data relationships, which makes it wonderful, it has helped me a lot, I feel it is an amazing tool and it allows me to collaborate with other people.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints in or absolute on this platform. Everything about her has enchanted and helped me, all of this platform is great and more that allows an impeccable movement. There is no way this program can see anything negative.

Qlik Sense is a simple tool to use and is very suitable for users who do their own analysis, it has incredible flexibility and simplicity, allows simple graphics with selected data, it also adapts to several devices which is great Help for handling various areas. If you do not have great knowledge, Qlik Sense is the right one for programming departments, we have a quick search for data and we can share what is vital within companies.

I can recommend this incredible tool, it adapts to several devices, allows you to create extensions in case you want to add new features to the platform, your search engine allows us to access information quickly, allows us to play with data. It has a simple interface that anyone can master. It's marvelous.
