What do you like best about the product?
Technical breadth and functionality of the product. You really can provide insights in to your environment that just aren’t possibkle with other products

Time to value in implementing and building capabilities,. In order to accelerate success the implementation needs to be planned carefully and you need to ensure that the right resources are allocated

Understand application and service usage, have consolidated services using the data and reduced overall cost of the IT estate

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All our java applications are being monitored via Dynatrace. It helps us trqcking performance and errors at application end
Recommendations to others considering the product:
complex in case we need to extend the current functionality or add so9me custom features. Although the dashboard of dynatrace in itself is self explanatery and very helpful.

Este programa te permite ver prácticamente cualquier problema, error, costes de tiempo que tengas en los nodos monitorizados, en que punto en que se encuentra (llamadas a servicios, conexión con BD, queries, conexion con el cliente) y considero que es fundamental en la monitorización de una aplicación web
What do you dislike about the product?
Al comenzar a utilizarlo se puede hacer complejo el hecho de encontrar todas sus funcionalidades y conocerlas a no ser que alguien te instruya, de hecho tras haberlo utilizado un tiempo estoy convencido de que aún se me escapan algunas de ellas.

Cualquier problema relacionado con la aplicación web de mi empresa, te permite ver cual es el problema y localizarlo muy rápidamente.

Hay que tener conocimientos de informática para poder utilizar este software, y además conocer las funcionalidades que tiene para sacar partido de el.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see the execution time event the time of an SQL query but also the query itself. So it is easier to find bottleneck functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The gui interface is quite complex and heavy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had issues with some DB2 queries and it allowed us to enhance them but also some latency on rest calls and allowed us to enable gzip message to have better performance messages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The best is to call a consultant from Dynatrace to help you install the tool and give a course for its usage. It is very good to debug in a QA environment but try to not use it in production if possible.

It’s one of the powerful tool for tracing and reporting the web services

The Ease of configuration is little complex

Dynatrace agents are installed over all servers where we services are hosted , which will help in identifying the bottle necks of the delayed SLA

Dynatrace allowed us to dig into our code to fix memory leaks that existed in our legacy code base. Minimized the amount of work need by developers.

It can be a bit of a cryptic tool to learn off the bat, so need to allow time for learning curve.

Easy to implement. Monitoring applications is very easy without any training or past experinece . Interface is easy to understand.

Not much issues noticed, sometime memmory issues faced.

Trying to ensure application running continously without any server related interruption to support smooth experience to end customer.
Major bnefit is you can catch the issue in proactive manner and handle the problem in time wothout disrupting business critival application.
